Horrendous food.
Just went as a last resort since other restaurants full and fancied steak.
Ordered 2 sirloin steak meals and waited a long time (no one else eating?). Having asked for medium they eventually arrived both well done and cold. sent them back & they came back warm (not hot) and by then very well done, whilst the rest of the food on the plate was even colder.
Expensive & a waste of what was probably good quality food. Quite clear the chef can only microwave food and the serving staff really didnt seem to care. No one came to ask if everything was ok — evident it wasnt.
Do not plan to eat there unless you like warm cardboard and happy to throw your money away.

nice restuarant /​pub. downstairs varitey of seating areas where you can have a drink or have a bar snack. really clean lovely nice seating. big fire to give sense of warmth. upstairs is available for funtions so you can hire it out, or if you have a large party they will reserve it for you so yuou can all sit together which is nice.
really friendly staff who are prepared to help you and food has always comes quick and hot.
close to asda at kings hill so nice if your going to the shops and fancy a bite to eat afterwards or if your meeting someone.

This is a nice pub with a lovely relaxing environment, it does however get extrememly busy on a Friday lunch time and it really shows in the service. The food is expensive for a pub, but however it is nice. You can enjoy a drink inside by the fire or out in the beer garden. It’s modern and nice
