Our speciality is Lebanese cuisine — all dishes are home made fresh to order. We also offer catering for offices and functions (e.g. parties, weddings, etc) with centrepiece dishes such as Kharouf Ouzi (whole stuffed lamb) and shawarma (lamb or chicken). We can also organise entertainment such as belly dancers.

History

Established in 2006.

After running outdoor events and organising marketing activities for a number of Lebanese restaurants in London for a number of years, we decided it was time to open our own independent Lebanese restaurant in Weybridge using authentic recipes and ingredients from the Levant. We have received excellent reviews and awards since we opened.

Meejana is a boutique Lebanese restaurant in Weybridge, perfect for a relaxed lunch or an informal dinner. This was my second visit, and last time the food was delicious so I was keen to go again.
The food is traditional Lebanese with a good mix of hot and cold mezze dishes and elaborate main courses (as well as steak for some reason-​not sure why this is part of the menu!). All of the dishes we had were full of flavour and well cooked. There is also a good wine selection.
The restaurant is split into 2 sections, with the smaller area to the front having a more traditional décor, whilst the section at the back is more sparsely decorated, so try and get a space at the front if possible.
The main downside of our visit this time was the slow service. Apart from the drinks, all of the food took ages to arrive — no clear reason for the delay, as the restaurant was not busy and we only ordered two mezze dishes and 2 mains. Luckily our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. However, the other waiter on that night was rather rude. We had ordered a basket of flat bread along with the other dishes at the start. However, when this didn’t arrive with the rest of the food, 10 minutes later, we politely reminded him of this order. This was met with a slightly rude remark, and the bread was then slammed onto the table! Alas due to the slow service and this behaviour, no tip was left!
Parking isn’t normally a huge issue, and you should be able to find somewhere on the road close to the restaurant

A disappointment with all but the quality of what was served.
Quantities: small for price.
Composition/​arrangement: not at all what we were hoping for. Who has eaten a schwarma (they spelled it with a C) as a pile of lamb or chicken on a plate with no bread, no pickle, no fries, or no mayo. Salad with pomegranate seed was nice and the chicken seasoning was tasty.
Price: give me a break. The ingredients are cheap, the prep would be intensive if the food processor had never been invented, the recipes are as old as Abraham. Muttabal in tiny little dish for £6.00? A naked schwarma for £15.50?

Excellent Lebanese restarant in very cosy surroundings. Service seems very personal, great feel.
Very wide menu, and all turns out well.
Good for lunch, coffee, drinks and dinner.
Can be quiet sometimes.
