History

Established in 2004.

M.K.Models is a father and son partnership and was established in July 2004. Our first shop was a unit in the Colwell Shopping Centre for the first 2 years. We then moved out into Weymouth town in our next shop which was just off the sea front in Bond street in 2006. That is where we remained for 5 yrs. A period of adjustment and re-​organisation then took place during the general economic downturn where we concentrated our efforts on our very successful E-​Bay shop and selling online generally. Then in August 2013 by popular demand we moved our business back into the Colwell Shopping Centre and back where we started in 2004.

After a successful and varied career in the civil service spanning 32yrs l set up M.K.Models with my son in 2004. Him doing the shop side and me concentrating on the online sales side of the business. After a period of re-​organisation l have taken on more of the running of the shop.
