The red robin is a large pub chained pub/restaurant. Down on robin park complex means it gets very busy on rugby/football match days. It’s not a bad place with a large central bar straight facing has you enter. Bar seating area on the right and large restaurant area on the left. 2 great outdoor patio area’s which are well fenced. 1 on the right with access from the bar area and 1 at the rear with access from the restaurant, the rear one complete with children’s outdoor playground. Not forgetting the large indoor children’s play area complete with slides, nets & ball pool with fully trained staff & separate snack bar. Food wasn’t too bad when we visited. Free WiFi. Car Park at front. All in all a friendly pub/restaurant.

An average type of two for one place next to the cinema and the JJB stadium we would not go here on a match night!

I have been several times for food and although the staff have always been friendly the food as always been hit or miss. However, on the last few occasions that I have been the food has been of a high standard each time. I don’t know if they have a new chef or what but it is definately worth a go. It is cheap also with the 2 for 1 deals.

Large eat in pub with children’s wacky warehouse soft play area, and an outdoor play area for warmer days. The food is basic pub standard, kids menu has some healthy options along with the usual chicken nuggets and chips, and there is a variety of different foods on the main menu. Main meals are on the two for one offer but not starters or desserts. Much of the food is reheated processed/frozen type stuff but they do decently cooked steaks. Basically you get what you pay for, great for a cheap meal out with the kids when you don’t feel like cooking or in school holidays but not a place you would go to for a celebration meal or similar. Lots of kids often running around tables and it does get extremely busy during school holidays when families head to the wacky warehouse. Service can be great during quieter periods but expect to wait up to an hour for food at busy times, and if you are eating on match days(nearby stadium) you will be served your alcoholic drinks/wine in plastic glasses. It can also get quite crowded on those days and can be a bit intimidating to see doormen as you enter the restaurant.!!

Not my favourite place. Even kids have standards and this venue fell below my kids expectationsin terms of food. Barely cooked chips, overcooked everything else. Play area fab, but seems to have become a gathering place for a certain type of feckless parent who have uncontrollable offspring and they are chasing away thos eof us who discipline our kids.

Nice pub with outstanding value on the food. Two for one. If a group of people go, which I regularly visit with a group of about ten people, you literally get your meal half price. Worth a try

Good place to have a quiet meal, but still occupy the kids. It’s a good atmosphere, and good service. Prices can be a bit on the expensive side.
