A Smooth Move and Store specialise in supplying Wirral and Chester residents with quality Removals and Storage Services. Established in 1990, we are a medium sized family firm who treat each client as an individual and offer a very friendly, professional removals and storage service at decent prices. Our new, purpose built Warehouse is insulated, fenced and very secure. Electronic security includes CCTV, Redcare Alarm and an extensive fire detection system. Our staff are generally Full-​time and many have been with us for many years. They are polite, pleasant and professional… and have loads of experience. We offer cover on your goods when in transit free of charge and cover is available in Storage for a small premium. Feel free to come and see us at our Warehouse premises which is in Neston. History

Established in 1990.

Initially I purchased a new box van for a video delivery business I was running at the time. I used the van as a mobile shop for a number of months. But however many hour I worked I just could not make a decent profit from that business and I was also pretty bored with renting videos too. Dejected and a little worried, I wondered what else I could do in the van to make some money. «I’ll get into Removals» I thought «…it’s better than nothing». And that was the start of A Smooth Move!

It was hard work in the beginning but the physical work was good for me and because we always had a caring attitude we slowly built our customer base and grew a good reputation. My wife has been a great help in doing the paperwork and organising things. Twenty three years later we now run four vehicles, have nine people on the books (some full and some part time) and have a brand-​new purpose built warehouse in Neston. And most importantly of all we have an excellent bunch of staff.
