visited the pub on sat night, very good refurb, plenty of space, and the barman who serves us was brill.
but that is as good as it gets, the food was micro rubbish and not very nice. we ordered a sweet, that never arrived but was still on the bill.
doubt if we will try the pub again, which is a pity as we live local and always go out to eat over the w-​end.

Definitely much improved since refurb, the place is spacious and comfortable. The food is good, not exactly gourmet but what do you expect, the specials board in particular has a wide range of different meals. Value is good but drinks are on the expensive side.

Very large Bank’s pub on major road. Massive car park. Place is used a lot for weddings and other do’s.
Chain food menu but well kept Bank’s beer.
Dec 11. Popped in for first time since refurb for a group xmas dinner looks massive now. Food acceptable, ale was good Oxford Gold at £2.70pp.
