The Little Civic

I believe this has moved into Broad Street now.

Great little place, full of students on a busy night. They really seem to get local bands on and the atmosphere is electric. A bit loud upstairs and small but that just adds to the feeling of being in a larger venue. Cheap student night beers and offers. The doormen are a laugh and the kebab & hot dog stand is straight outside. Whatever you do, dont go to Kipps next door unless you have a stab vest on. LOL XX

great little place for beer and live music. Cheap entry to the live section upstairs as the bands are usually small or local bands just starting out but it has a good selection. There will be something you like! beer is good which can make all the difference in music venues, who wantsto watch a band with a warm pint of bath water?

The one place I miss from my university town. The Little Civic hosts comedians and bands (I remember seeing Gay Dad there!) and even if you go in on a night when there’s nothing major happening, you’ll still have a good time thanks to the great music they play and the cheap drinks. If you’re on your way out to Cheeky Monkeys or Blast Off at the Civic (just next door) you can also buy your ticket at the Little Civic. Oh, and there’s always a burger van outside, which is handy!

A lovely little venue in the heart of the town centre. Close to the train station — so convenient for those living outside Wolves!
Although the venue is small, it boasts a variety of bands that have played there. Both local and bands that are well known nationally have played this quaint venue.
Prices are dependent on whose playing, but usually are reasonable.

Nice little venue in wolves, just by the civic and wulfrun halls. Has a lot of local bands, great place gives unknown bands the opportunity to play out. Great place to start your night, situated right by yates aswell.

very small place and small bar, but nice music on some nights others can be a bit hard rock metal, but good place to chat some times or dance. nice stop off through the night. good for seeing bands and listening to rock music

The civic is very close to the town centre and alot of the local bands play here. I have been mainly when there are rock concerts. The prices are very resonable and there are alot of people and atomosphere is really electric. The little civic is by the bus centre and is close to the takeaway shops and are open most till 2−3am in the morning. Always good when you have had a really good night out.

This is a really cool pub/​venue to hang out in. They have lots of up and coming bands play here, as well as chilled out nights where its more like a pub.
The location is great — only about a 10 minute walk from Wolverhampton bus station and its next to the civic hall and the wulfrun hall both of which have club nights and gigs of their own. The little civic is like a scaled down version of these places hence the name! I usuakky enjoy going to see a band there or to have a few beers before going to a club. The box office is also located in the little civic for the aformentioned venues, so its open usually all day.
All in all its a friendly, warm place in a good location to see the rest of Wolverhampton
