Specialties
The Mandeville Arms is a laid-back, sociable and comfortable village pub.
It’s been here for hundreds of years and, as far as we’re concerned, it will be for hundreds more.
Yes, it has all the usual features of beams, fireplaces, eclectic décor, even more eclectic people, beer garden, the longest bar in Hardington Mandeville, dynamic restaurant and, of course, a skittle alley.
But for us it means more than all that.
It’s about working in a pubby community, providing honest food & drink, and celebrating the freshest locally generated fare we can get our hands on.
So we source all our fish directly from the Dorset coast, our vegetables come from our own 10 acres of land, and our meat, bread and drinks come from local people we know, like and trust.
You’re welcome to pop in and see us sometime. We think it’s what a proper pub should be
History
Established in 1900.
Originally known as The New Inn it was one of 2 legally recognised pubs out of 5 in Hardington. Before that it was a farmstead and since it has also been both a brewery and a «Gastro» pub. Now it is a traditional local pub with an eclectic, smart, comfortable and contemporary twist.
