This place is definitely in my top 10… It oozes quality, serves excellent (I think it’s illy) coffee, great food… great staff and the proprietor has a great moustache !
I like to cycle here from Leeds … It’s the perfect refueling spot !

The Pig & Pastry is a great café/​deli that serves amazingly good home cooked food and a fine cup of coffee. There’s limited seating inside and a couple of benches outside under a canopy where you can sit and watch the world go by.
The staff are always friendly and service is fast. My only complaint would be the lack of space inside — the counter is a bit bigger than it needs to be and there’s not much room to get past and sit down.

I have only eaten the bacon butties here but they are great. This is a very nice place to sit and have a coffee. Very busy so you may not get a table, but that said it is busy for a reason.
