History

Established in 1980.

Vito’s Pizzeria was established by the Gironda brothers originally from San Vito, Italy. The brothers continue to own and operate both locations with the help of there sons, whom together are working to carry on the family traditions with which the brothers established.

Waitresses were RUDE! The Italian food is mediocre and the dining room is the size of a closet. Must be nice to be the only show in town.

I come for the cheese calzone. Best in town! Large portion filled with cheese and sauce on top or on the side. It’s mouth-​watering! I’ve also had the two-​piece cheese pizza lunch special with a drink for $ 7.95 and that’s great too. Both restaurants are good but I enjoy this one better.

The positives are that the people are so friendly and really want to make their customers happy. While nothing tastes bad here, the pizza, pasta and salad are nothing special. It isn’t that you’ll walk away thinking, «Wow what a horrendous meal» but you also won’t walk away thinking, «Wow that’s was really amazing.»
The prices are more than reasonable.

Time and time again, my wife and I call Vito’s to get a Vito’s Special and a simple cheese pizza. Their pizza is by far the best in the area and a regular staple in our home if we don’t want to cook… I would rate them with four stars; however, I cannot because their food is just that good!

GREAT pizza! The Vito’s Special and plain cheese are my absolute favorites. The crust is the best in town.

OMG!!! SUCH great pizza! My husband brought Vitos into work on my bday for my coworkers to eat. Everyone said it was the best pizza in town, so I was dying to try it! I was not disappointed! It was amazing. The crust was thin and not greasy at all. The toppings were fresh and delicious. The white pizza with ricotta was soooo good! I could eat this pizza every day. Can’t wait to go back! 2 locations– Southern Pines and Pinehurst. Pinehurst location is open for lunch and dinner. SP location only open for dinner.

I came here with my college golf team and my teammate and I killed a large pizza together !! It was so good and the sauce was great. I asked for extra marinara and it was delish !!

Best pizza in town. Period. Our favorite is the «White Spinach Pizza». There are no words for how completely wonderful it is!
The biggest problem and why it didn’t get 5 stars… better bring your CASH ONLY because they don’t take debit cards or credit cards. Come on, what year is it? Every restaurant in town takes credit cards except this place.
