History
Established in 1944.
The first Busch Jewelers was opened by George Busch Sr. in Newark, New Jersey right after WWII. The success of that store drove him to expand, and he soon had stores across the country. Our Abilene location was opened in 1944, built on Busch Jewelers’ fine reputation and commitment to customer service. The manager of the Abilene location, Frank Fite, eventually bought the store from George Busch Sr. and continued its success. In that time, Frank’s son Don worked at the store and learned everything from his father. In 2003, Don took over the store, after working at the business for over 20 years.
