Specialties

We are a children’s consignment shop specializing in new and gently used clothing, ranging in sizes from newborn to junior boys and girls. We also carry a wide variety of other merchandise for children including baby gear, furniture, toys, games, dvds, books, and so much more! We carry maternity clothes for expectant moms and a wide range of merchandise to help them prepare for the birth of their babies. We carry quality merchandise for very affordable prices. In addition to buying items at the store, we consign items as well. Our consignment split is very generous as we pay out, after the item is sold, 50% for baby gear and furniture and 40% for toys and clothes. Consigning and buying in consignment shops is a great way to recycle merchandise and in so doing help our environment.

History

Established in 1992.

Pooh’s Corner was originally located on Davisville Road near the Willow Grove Train Station. The store has grown significantly since the early 90’s and moved to Roslyn in 1998. It was located in the Roslyn Valley Shopping Center on Easton Road. Once again we outgrew our space and moved across the street to 1314 Easton Rd., Memorial Day weekend of 2011. The store’s original owner was Judy Fuhrman and was sold to Lori Edelman in July 2004. Lori Edelman remains the current owner of the store. We continue to carry a wide variety of merchandise for infants through junior girls and boys. We carry everything you could possibly need for children including clothing, toys, books, games, dvds, and baby equipment. We offer a very generous consignment split to people who want us to sell their items. You receive 40% for clothing, toys and accessories and 50% for baby equipment and furniture. We really believe in the concept of recycling and donate a lot of merchandise as well.

Meet the Business Owner

Lori E.

Business Owner

Lori Edelman, business owner, is a resident of Roslyn, where the store is located. She has owned the store since 2004, purchasing it after working there for a couple of years. She is proud to have lived in Roslyn for over 35 years. She has always loved children and prior to Pooh’s Corner took care of children privately for a family. Part of the enjoyment in running the store is getting to play with and hold all of the beautiful babies that come in to shop with their parents. Lori’s mom, Roslyn, works with her in the store and seeing all the babies and children is a special treat for her as well. Lori has three children of her own and knows how expensive it is to raise them and really believes in consignment. She has the gift of gab and really enjoys talking with people and sharing in their lives. Stop by and visit the store and become a part of the Pooh’s Corner family.
