This is our neighborhood Stop & Shop and I happen to like it for a few reasons (in no particular order): this location has a gas station and they seem to carry much more than some other nearby Stop and Shops. For instance, I always had problems trying to pick up 99% fat free ground turkey and my favorite Special K chocolate-​y pretzel bars from the nearby Stop & Shop in Norwell. So, the one in Abington is it. The only thing I don’t like is that it seems as if every other week they are changing the layout of the store. Maybe it’s some type of mental game they are playing with me as they watch me wheel my cart around the entire store looking for the bread aisle.
Stock up on your coupons and go there with a plan. The prices are high, but guess what … groceries in New Englad are higher priced than other places in the country! Get used to it!
At any rate, for what it serves as a grocery store, it is convenient, clean, and it serves its purpose.

My review is totally based on the fact they got rid of the fresh fish counter. I am not going to buy prepackaged fish that came from God knows where and was packaged who knows when.
