Minos Bakery

What much can I say about this bakery that’s been around for ages? It’s a small bakery on the edge of Pleasantville and they’ve been operating for ages!
I’ve been getting their Strawberry Shortcakes for years and it has always tasted great. I did have a lot of trouble with them before and haven’t ordered from them since, but decided to grab a cake today for my mom’s birthday because it literally is the only bakery around. They sell the plain cookies and miscellaneous baked goods and they’re specialty cake I have to say is their Strawberry Shortcake. Most cakes you have to call a day in advance for them to make, but the Strawberry Shortcake is something they can get the day of as long as you call in the morning. They usually have it in the fridge in the bakery ready to go as well, unless it’s a day full of birthdays for everyone else in the area.
I’ve tried a lot of bakeries throughout my Unilocaling career and honestly this is one of the only good ones in the area if you’re looking for large not too sugary cakes.
My favorite baked good, besides cake, is their Bear Paw. Which is an almond croissant filled with cream cheese decked off with powdered sugar. Small things like that I really enjoy from their bakery.

ordered a birthday cake that was out of this world expensive!
First off I ordered Buttercream, but the icing tasted like it had lemon in it.
We all had some upset stomachs after eating the cake. Wouldnt go there again

Pretty good glaze donuts! They do have vanilla frost donut with apples which is really good!

Great selection — baklava, all kinda creative cookies, cakes, a cornucopia of butter and sugar and flour culinary architecture!
