Awesome place to do a bunch of jumps at low prices, $ 15 with your own gear, $ 35 with their gear.
Tandems only $ 100 photos and video only $ 75.
AFF course is $ 1000 plus $ 100 for a tandem and approx $ 280 for 15 mins in the
wind tunnel as prep. So about $ 1400 altogether presuming you pass the 7 jumps. Get the video course and booklet and study hard, go prepared.

This place relies on jump volume to keep prices low, so if you come in asking lots of lame questions about a tandem expect to be directed to their website for the info.
Of the four dropzones I have jumped at in California this one has the best vibe for me, your milage may vary.
If you want somewhere where you can take your time and ask a bunch of questions before a tandem, look elsewhere, if you want somewhere where you can jump with little or no BS, this is your place.
Bill the owner is quirky, but is a good guy and knows his stuff, but doesn’t care for idle chit chat or whuffo’s.
The AFF course if fantastic my son did it and I read all the materials and watched the videos, they tell you exactly what you need to know with no filler or fluff.
Last note, this is one of the few dropzones in the country where you can jump at age 16 with a parent present.

would probably give it 4.5 stars if I could. This was my first time skydiving and it was an amazing experience and view. The guy who jumped with me as well as my photographer was great!
They only lose a star because it felt so rushed. We didn’t have time to read the waver before signing and being rushed back t get harnessed up. Where as I didn’t mind that it was quick I would have liked to have the whole process explained to me first before jumping. Things like the harness is loose because it doesn’t get tight until you strap onto you tandem jumper, and things like that. Would have made me a bit more comfortable.
But all in all I would 100% jump here again, especially since I now know more about the process!

Lodi is an awesome drop zone with competent employees. The news reports of past deaths are moot. It’s a dangerous sport and people die. In no way is that a reflection of the drop zone or their safety standards. The overwhelming percentage of fatalities happen to people jumping on their own, most often, with their own equipment. Some of these reviews are emotionally charged and unfortunately ignorant in their assessments.

Seems like this place has a history safety issues and fines. I was also appalled with the owners insensitive response via a news interview, regarding a recent death and I quote «everybody feels bad about but life goes on» in a very nonchalant manner.
I did a little research while looking up places to sky dive and found another frighting news report. See link below — Thank god for Unilocal and youtube. I would definitely stay away.

I brought my fiancé and his friend here for his big 30^th birthday. I had originally planned on going to Hollister because there was a groupon for $ 100 instead of the normal price of $ 200. But after doing some homework, Parachute Center is at a flat rate of $ 100 and you fall from a higher distance.
When we got there, people were falling from the sky! It was pretty cool. We were getting really psyched even though I wasn’t jumping. There wasn’t too many signs to point you in the right direction. The moment I walked into the room, it was surreal. The room was a room filled with experienced skydivers with their parachutes and their dogs all having a good time. It was a community. We went to sign up and pay. The video and pictures cost extra — of course — so that added up — but was expected. He ushered the boys to the «safety video» which was an outdated video you can’t even hear while expected to sign the waiver. Within 2 minutes, someone came up to them and told them to just initial, don’t bother reading it’s all the same, their plane is on the way. Supppper Rushhhed. Within 20 minutes of getting there, the boys were getting on the plane!
They had a BLAST. They loved it. Their expert and their camera girls did a great job. I had fun watching them fall from the sky.
Luckily everything went perfect — but I still feel that some time should have been warranted to read over a waiver that is pretty much signing your life away. The process shouldn’t be rushed. Even if they do it probably 20x a day.
I would still recommend this place. It was a great experience. I had fun hanging out all the dogs and sitting in the seats provided outdoors in the sunshine while waiting for the guys. Everyone was friendly except for Mr. Rushy. The video and pictures came out great. Money well spent.

Breezy and Larry, the sweetest folks you will meet. What an amazing experience. My greatest fear was that I’d suffocate by the wind, shit myself and pass out. I was ready to cop out on the plane. But Breezys calm friendly nature kept me calm. They let me sit next to my boyfriend and have him jump first (he’s a third time jumper and I’m a first). Awesome tips that helped me enjoy myself. I experienced everything dry and conscious lol. I LOVED IT! I FELT LIKE I WAS FLYING. I felt like happy like a kid again. I felt amazing. would I do it again, yes! Thank you Breezy ! Thank you Larry for making my first time such a great experience!

Came here for my 44 birthday with my two sons. Everything was beyond awesome great staff, awesome instructors. Just wish the extras weren’t so darn expensive

I loved every moment, hardly any wait and to jump video plus pic for 175 is a awesome deal! My instructor Shining was super conforting, he pushed me enough and took such great care of me. My camera girl CB was awesome got really great shots and only took 15 min to get highly recommend this place

Skydiving was one of best experiences of my life! And this place worked great for me!
I came in expecting it to look run down and ghetto. So that was fine with me. As soon as we walked up to the building outside, a guy asked us if we’re here to jump and directs us to go inside to the counter in the back corner. The moment we walked in through the doors, we saw a building full of shirtless dudes rolling up their parachutes all over the place. It was 100+ degrees outside and there’s no a/​c in there so it smelled like a men’s locker room. Lol! we paid for our jump and pictures and video. $ 175 total. Not bad.
We were given paperwork to fill out and a number. As soon as we sat down, my instructor (Irish) came to introduce himself as well as my camera girl. (Gosh I forgot her name but she was great!!! I know she’s from Israel and has an awesome accent. lol. 5 stars for her pics and video skills!) we barely finished the paperwork and were told to head back to harness up.
My instructor– lol where do I begin? He’s funny but you definitely have to have an open mind with his humor. I didn’t mind it but I can see other people getting offended by his comments. He knew I was a bit nervous so he kept trying to «scare» me with his sarcastic comments. I knew he was joking so it didn’t bother me a bit. It was nice to laugh when I was feeling nervous. I didn’t get any instructions before so I was a tad nervous about that and kept asking him questions. He said he’d do all the work and tell me what to do. Ok, that worked for me.
We were the last to board our plane which made us the first jumpers (yay)! On the plane, he told me exactly what I needed to do, and reassured me that I was safe and that he was great at his job. This was the first time that he wasn’t being sarcastic or trying to scare me. That made me feel better. Then he secured me in real tight in my harness to where I can barely breathe but I felt so much safer. Next thing you know, we’re jumping out of the plane!
The free fall was amazing! At one point, I felt like I couldn’t breathe but then I remembered Irish telling me to just breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth. So much better! He also let me steer the parachute, which was cool. Landing was good too.
Overall, this place was good for me! My video and pics came out great and I’m so happy with them! My sis in law had issues with her pics but she’s trying to resolve that with her guy so hopefully it works out for her. I didn’t get horrible service like the reviews said. I did talk to the owner, who everyone seems to hate, but he seemed fine to me. He seems to have a dry sense of sarcasm but I got it just fine. I’d definitely want to come back here!

I love these guys; ghetto, cheap, skilled, safe, and about as cool as you can get. $ 110 for tandem jumps. For around $ 1500 you can do their Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) course and you’ll be jumping on your own in no time.
Hint: Try to do the the wind tunnel after your 1^st or 2^nd jump. That way you’ll know why you need the practice and it’ll stick much better. Good luck and see y’all out there!
Oh and be nice to Bill. He’s the owner, does not care in the least what you think nor about your money. He also bikes to work.
Really be nice to everybody. They do have the coolest jobs ever, but they work their arses off to teach you and keep you safe.

I came to the Parachute center to skydive for the first time today. Although I would rate instructor, camera man, and the jump 5 stars, the service was terrible (zero stars)!!
My friends and I first called in to confirm the prices that are listed online and they told my friend to look it up on their website. Seriously couldn’t even be bothered to answer a simple yes or no question?
Also, upon arrival, we were each given a jumper number to stick on our badges. My number was 44 which (which resembled death in the Chinese culture). As a nervous first time jumper, I wanted to avoid all the bad luck that I could so I asked to switch numbers. They not only refused to let someone else go ahead of me so I could get the next number, the employee proceeded to enunciate that «THIS is JUST a NUMBER. We are in AMERICA. Get used to it.» Wow, seriously? I guess he couldn’t even be bothered to RESPECT his customers beliefs.
Also, it really felt like that they wanted to get people in and out as fast as possible (to maximize profits?) — I barely got enough time to carefully read through the waiver that they had us sign.
All in all, I think you get what you pay for. For $ 100, you get a great skydiving experience with an awesome instructor, but you also have to deal with incredibly rude customer service.
Oh, if you chose the photo/​video only option, they will still photograph/​film you regardless of your choice incase you change your mind. However, you can only switch from photo/​vid to photo AND vid and not from photo only to video only (vice versa) — despite the fact that they have both on file.

Who wouldn’t go here and give five stars just for being kept alive?! This experience was so exciting! They were really quick. As soon as I paid I filled out paperwork and there was Kirk, my instructor. As welcoming as can be. He clearly loves what he does and I only appreciated that so much more. He was talking to be and asking me all kinds of questions to probably keep me from freaking out. He’s got this Thor-​like accent (he’s English) and was just super fun in general. My camera/​video guy was Dennis, super rad guy. This seems to be his life (from what I can tell from his pictures. I think he said he’s been doing it since ’82 or ’87. Crazy.
Anywho, it was a blast. If I could go back and ask for them all over again I would… And I will! Thanks guys!

This was my first time skydiving and it was the best experience ever! I wanted to do something fun for my 21^st birthday so my friend and I decided to come here! The vibe driving into the area may seem a little sketch but obviously sky diving places can’t be located in a highly populated area. Rodrigo was the person who I tandem jumped with and he made me feel calm and comfortable. He’s extremely funny and wants to make sure you are safe and feel safe at all times! My photographer’s name was Max and he captured some funny scenes and clips throughout my adventure! Overall, they made my 21^st forever memorable!

This was my first skydive & it was phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, someone was there to direct me to where I needed to be. I wouldn’t know which place is best for a first, but I do recommend Parachute Center. Honestly, I chose this place as my first as its only $ 100! Being from Los Angeles, surrounding skydive areas are near $ 300! Nonetheless, this place exceeded my expectation.
My tandem was with Andre. Amazing! He spoke me through every single step of the way. He surely emphasized the important steps! He, as well as everyone else, asked if I was ok all before and throughout my experience. I was keeping my anxiety internal and that got him worried. How sweet of him. Made me feel comfortable from the start to end!
I wasn’t too impressed with my photo/​videographer. He kinda forgot he was recording me at some points. I paid $ 75 for the video+photo package and I didn’t receive any photos. Although, he did a great job with the video!
If ever I am in the area again, I will find myself jumping with this crew! They’re awesome! Don’t think twice about doing it; be like Nike & JUST DO IT!

This is the best place to skydive your first time! Everything about this place is amazing. The people, the experience, everything. They are extremely friendly here, everyone feels like they’re home. The skydive itself was of course the best part, free fall is the best feeling in the world. If you want a huge rush of adrenaline in a friendly, professional atmosphere then come to A Campo! Special thanks to Red, the best instructor ever! I had a blast.

This place is perfect for that first skydiving experience — which has to be a tandem jump. You’re attached by a harness to the belly of your jumpmaster. Then you keep your arms even, and your legs trucked up. So the jumpmaster gets you down safely while you enjoy half a minute or so of free fall at around 180mph. Nothing compares to that!
Depending on when you go, you may fly up to 11,000 feet in a bit Cessna or in a DC-​3. The DC-​3 is a trip, because it’s gutted and you sit on the bare aluminum skin, crammed in with all the experienced jumpers. When the plane banks, you focus on holding onto the hooks on the floor so you don’t slide around and knock someone out the open door too early.
Compared to the place at Byron, it seems like these guys are cowboys. They like to get in as many jumps in a day as possible. But the jumpmasters are as knowledgeable and safety-​oriented as any you’ll find. And the experience of jumping out of a bare-​bones DC-​3 is one you’ll never forget.

Just completed my first sky dive here. Service was good and the price ($ 100 per sky dive) is reasonable.
I ordered a video for $ 50. Unfortunately, we had to wait 1 hour (in the heat) for the video. If you buy a video or photos, I suggest going to town, getting lunch, then coming back for photos/​video.
To Parachute Center, I recommend uploading photos and videos to the Internet (e.g. Vimeo, Flickr, YouTube, Amazon, Dropbox, etc) and emailing a link to customers. This is much better than making customers wait 1 hour. The long wait is a major buzz kill.

This place is awesome, inexpensive and great experience. This was my best friend and I’s first time, my instructor was Mike Crusher he was super awesome and talked me through the entire process and calmed my nerves while in the air I am so glad I got him (I don’t like heights but this was a bucket lister). We both got a video and mine was super awesome over 6 min from beginning showing up to the land edited and music so fast! It was ready by the time we got our gear off. My friends was only 3 min and literally just the jump which is why I didn’t give all 5 stars. Make sure to request Cory Hall if he is available he did an awesome job, I’ll post the you tube links below so you can see the difference and we paid the same amount! Pictures are by him too which also were awesome!

This place was great. Might look a little sketchy when you drive up, but everyone is very knowledgable. The guy at the front desk (I think the owner) is a little short with people and acts like he doesn’t have time to talk to you (which is where some of these bad reviews are from), BUT besides that, we had an awesome experience!
We went in with a group of 7 jumpers. I was lucky enough to get Batman as my tandem jumper dude and RPM as my camera guy. Both were awesome! Batman kept me calm and laughing as we prepared to jump and he did a great job with me. RPM was funny too, and he got GREAT video footage of my dive!
I highly recommend the extra money for the video/​still pictures ahead of the jump. That gets you a separate camera guy from your tandem so then the camera isn’t right in your face like it will be if your tandem guy takes it and it won’t show all the ripples and spit as much. Ha ha.
Overall great! Highly recommended!

I am extremely acrophobic but I decided that I wanted to skydive.
Google maps did not lead us there, so we got off the exit once we saw the airport on the side of the freeway. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere.
I was tandem with ‘Excalibur’ who was a hilarious and sweet man. He strapped me VERY tight to him once he found out how scared I was of heights.
The plane is sketchy, the bathrooms are dirty, but none of that matters when you’re on your way to the ground… from 13,000 feet.
The freefall only felt like 3 seconds to me! The whole thing went by so quickly and I was surprised to have landed so gently.
I definitely want to come again.
We got the groupon deal for $ 119 and purchased photos for $ 50 a person.
