CVS Pharmacy

The new location for this CVS is great. The store is ample and clean. Service is fine. However, and this is a big however for a pharmacy, the a frequently short on standard prescription medications. This store does a poor job of managing inventory. For a pharmacy not to have standard prescriptions in stock, that is a massive draw back. Reliability is key for people who need their meds. It seems they fall short in the pharmacy part of the pharmacy business.
This is unacceptable for a store that holds premium monopoly license to serve sick people who rely on their important meds.
The Maynard CVS store always carries adequate supplies. It is where I often end up going when this store is out of stock.
This is unfortunate for sure, as I had high hopes for the store and the people.

Brand new location in Acton. Oddly the entrance is in back but besides that oddity this is a cleans well stocked CVS. There is a larger than usual food section too

This is the best example of it’s kind, a CVS that is clean and the help is knowledgable. If you are like me and take a handful of medication everyday then this is the store for you. Great pharmacists
who will learn your name by your second visit. Not much turnover in the staff which is also nice. Great place also for candy and cards and their film processing is not bad. Take off one star for no drive thru.

It’s a regular CVS, except you’re in Acton so the counter help will be condescending to you for buying cigarettes.
