Ok, we have heard for years about the best burger in town. We finally made it over to Paul’s Place last night. Boy that bacon cheeseburger was fantastic. They use delicious ground sirloin. We will definitely be back. Owner, Rick, came over and hung out with us off and on, in between running the bar and stuff. I love it when a person takes such care and pride in their business. He gave us a rundown on the colorful history of the place and showed us pictures on the wall of former owners, patrons, friends and some really fun stories. We indulged in multiple pitchers of bud light, 805, and tried some delicious root BEERS. When we got the bill I thought they missed some drinks. Great prices. Nice to go out and not feel raked over the coals. And 75 cent pool table! Next we will try the BBQ on Saturdays. Rick said to get it early because they often run out. Paul’s Place, we are a fan. Stopped in for a cold beer. There was a cute service dog and a sexy pic in the ladies bathroom. Maybe the friendliest dive bar in the United States.

A great small town bar. Beer is very cold, the staff is always friendly and the hamburgers are outstanding! I highly recommend trying it. I know folks that drive down from AV just to go to Pauls. It is worth it. If you want a fancy dinner or an uptown bar, then drive down to SCV. But if want cold beer and a great burger in a friendly environment. Then Paul’s is the place.

Horrible bar. Very dirty kitchen area and bathrooms. The bartender was busy talking to the other bartender that I guess works there after that bartender came out of the bathroom after about 15 minutes with her boyfriend. Very unprofessional place, burger was raw and severely undercooked. A lot of other customers had their shirts off, and were extremely loud and offensive. I’m surprised this place is still in business.

My girlfriend and I stop in once in awhile and chat with the locals. But, lately it seems to be flocking with young shirtless dudes, where it’s starting to be a turn off.

Sad excuse for a bar. this bar actually makes acton worse, a VERY hard thing to do! They don’t serve liquor, only beer and wine. So… i guess its not really a bar its more of a shitty restaurant. One of the waitresses is downright annoying! a loudmouth who doesn’t know when to shut up.(you know who you are) i would rather get drunk, in a dark alley and raped, then have to go in that place. I feel like by just sitting on the toilet ill contract an STD. What a dive! You’ll have a much better time getting a bottle of bacardi next door, a mcdonalds hamburger and talking to the colorful folk down by the trailer park, then going in there.

Love their burgers! Can’t beat their burger, fries, and any beer you want for $ 8.99. Definitely have to check it out for yourself!

A little Gem of a dive bar, tucked away in the corner of a strip mall next to the freeway. Nice staff, cold beer, and decent bar food cooked right there at the bar. A very entertaining group of regulars round out the package.
