History

Established in 1998.

George and Elias Tile (G&E) started as a family owned business serving the Atlanta area and it’s surrounding cities since 1998. As native New Yorkers, George and his family spent the early years in Astoria NY primarily working on upscale renovations in New York’s upper-​east side. Through the years George and his sons have developed numerous commercial projects (such as donut shops and restaurants), condos, as well as residential homes.

We are currently based in Acworth GA and continue to plan our growth while conducting business as a family. Our work has taken us into Atlanta, Roswell, Dunwoody, Smyrna, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Cartersville and beyond. Our team has done work all over the north-​western part of Georgia and hope to expand into new areas, helping customers with ideas, planning, and designing unique tile work. Through time and perseverance Steve has developed G&E Tile into the well established firm it is today. With hard work and determination, the business has grown with the ability to handle large or multiple projects simultaneously. Steve has taken a personal leadership role in developing all new trained professionals of G&E — sometimes being seen as meticulous to the point of perfection. This remains one of the main reasons G&E has steadily grown from word of mouth referrals and satisfied clients over the years. Steve began laboring on his own, and over time realized the full potential of his business. More importantly, he understood the relationship between customer service, attention to detail, and applied these fundamentals to his work. Steve’s background was always in construction having apprenticed with his father for years… Steve possesses all the fundamental qualities of a tile master — keen orientation to detail, smart, energetic, focused, and driven.
