As the other Josh posted this Pamida is part of a dying breed. Whenever we’re at our cabin we always need something and Pamida always has what we need. It reminds of a Shopko. This store seems clean and offers a decent selection of everyday products to serve a small town well.

One of the last Pamidas that I know of. they’re indeed a dying breed. This one is your typical department store with a not so typical name. The prices are decent and its a lifesaver for your random needs such as a can-opener or what have you. My only bad experience there was buying the most disgusting bottle of soda ever — I’m not sure if it was opened or like a million years old but it was just WRONG. I’m not sure I blame Pamida unless they should have rotated it out or something
