Back and Bodywork Massage specializes in therapeutic massage utilizing Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and other modalities to effectively treat your ailments. Business Owner

Ryan Sealy is a graduate of Sterling Health Center in Dallas, Texas. He

is licensed in the state of Texas and is a longstanding member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). He received his Massage Therapy license upon completion of over 600 instructional hours as well as 120 internship hours.

Ryan’s work incorporates Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, pre-​natal/​pregnancy massage and myofascial release techniques with effective trigger point therapy to help clients attain balance and well-​being. His touch is highly intuitive and each massage is tailored to meet his client’s needs. Ryan continually seeks opportunities to work with motivated individuals who are empowered to use their inherent potential to make a difference in their own fundamental health. Helping others understand the human body and body patterns is his passion.

Ryan is clearly a natural at this. He is not a guy who just went to massage school and learned the stuff; he clearly has an intuitive understanding of how the muscles work, how it all comes together, and how to apply all of that to his massage therapy in a way that actually helps you leave not just feeling better, but actually being better. It makes a tangible difference! I’ve visited many massage therapists and Ryan stands out of from the crowd.

I was looking for a massage therapist close to where I live. I found Ryan Sealy through Unilocal and given all I good reviews and the great introductory offer, I thought I’d give him a try. I’d been experiencing pretty bad shoulder and upper back pain which had gotten worse over time to the point that it hurt to move my neck. I gave Ryan a brief explanation of what was going on. He knew exactly what to address and the amount of pressure to apply. He has healing hands! Definitely one of the best if not the best massage therapists Ive been to. He is very professional and I was comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Ryan is simply just the best.
I see Ryan regularly to help me perform my best athletically. Not only does he devote significant time and detail to every area but he effectively treats my areas of concern and discomfort. He also brings my attention to other areas before they become a problem. He is knowledgable. He is experienced. Seeing Ryan is effective and relaxing, two things that are hard to achieve together when seeking a truly worthy deep tissue or sports massage. Was referred to Ryan from two other women that I know through CrossFit. I’ve had some issues with my shoulders and was pretty sure I could just rest and stretch them back to normal. Finally after weeks of little progress I went to go see Ryan. From just a few minutes of fact-​finding he was able to target my problem area and eliminate my shoulder pain.
I was amazed to see how fast I felt better. I wasn’t able to turn a steering wheel or lift much prior to my visit. I only wish I could have seen Ryan sooner!

Ryan is amazing. The best massage ever! I’ve been a client for several years now. I have had years of suffering from back and shoulder pain. I have seen many massage therapists. He is the only one that has given me extensive time without pain. He has also corrected other injuries over the time I have seen him. As others have noted, he has magic hands. He is professional and well trained. Weather you need injury repair work or just need to relax.

My brother lives in Dallas and upon my most recent visit, I started feeling some tension in my lower back. Not really knowing the area that well, I went to trusty Unilocal and found out about this place. Most reviews boasted about Ryan, so I scheduled a massage with him. Again Unilocal comes through! I’m still not completely comfortable with seeing a male massage therapist, but Ryan made me feel 100% comfortable and had hands of magic. I felt so much better after my visit with him. Ryan is a great massage therapist. Educated and knows what he is doing. He listens to the client about pressure needs and areas of concern. If there was an area I needed more or less pressure it was easy to tell him without feeling embarrassed. When I needed more attention to an area I just told him and he focused more and relieved the pain. Great first massage and scheduled my next one already.

I had lower back pain. It was so bad, I had to take the day off from work. From a pain scale of 1 to 10, it was definitely a 10!!!
I had tried 2 other massage therapists, but the relief was temporary. While researching online, I ran into Back & bodyworks. Best decision I ever made! Ryan was my therapist. The moment I mentioned the problem, he knew exactly what the cause of the problem was. He explaind to me why I felt the pain. After the massage, he also suggested a couple of stretch technics I could do to avoid the problem. I really felt I got my money’s worth. Thanks Ryan

Five Stars Plus! I had chronic low-​back pain for close to 2 years. Past massages with other practitioners masked, but didn’t fully alleviate the problem. Tired of temporary fixes and taking Ibuprofen on a daily basis, I sought to fix the problem once and for all with regular massages.
I found Ryan via Unilocal.Thank you fellow Unilocalers! I have to agree with the other posters 100%. He is an outstanding professional and displays expert knowledge of the complex muscle system. IMO, this enables him to easily identify the pain triggers and apply the proper technique.
Since I’ve been under Ryan’s care, my lower back pain is non-​existent for weeks at a time. Whereas before him, it was something I dealt with daily. If you want a results-​oriented, professional massage go check him out. You won’t regret it.
I highly recommend Ryan and am so thankful for finding him.

I’m going to start this review with one word…
Ah-​mazing!
I went in for a massage after working 4– 12 hour shifts and I ached from head to toe. After an hour, I felt rejuvenated and as if I had just slept an entire night. Not to mention my posture feels better, the tension in my shoulders and neck have been alleviated, and I feel completely renewed. To parrot what another client stated, it’s extremely therapuetic! This is one of those little gems, that you don’t quite want everyone to know about for your own selfish reasons, but it would be such a disservice not to give B&BW a glowing review.
I’m totally in for the once a month massage of yumminess!
