I absolutely recommend the«Big As Your Face» Burritos. They’re amazing and as the name states, the burrito is huge. I got the fajita beef flavor and it came with the famous queso topping, Mexican rice, and some pico de gayo. Overall, this meal was humongous and it could probably feed two people but I scarfed it all down and struggled. It was a lot of food to handle, but it was my decision to eat it all, haha. Maybe next time I’ll order a salad or something light. The atmosphere is pretty nice and we got seated very quickly during their lunch hour. It was extremely busy, but we got our food at a decent time and the server was extremely helpful. Would come again in the future. Tip: the margaritas are pretty good here too!

Chuy’s is one of my favorite chains. The food is consistent the service is good and the atmosphere is always busy. I love hearing cheers of delight from people on the next table about their food. My most favorite here is their quest, it has a kick to it and I really like that. We always make sure we get it every time we are here. As for their margaritas, oven ever had it but definitely would want to try it.

If you sit in the bar section, sit in Darin’s section. We went to dinner tonight and he so helpful and made our dining experience enjoyable. He made helpful suggestions and picked out some delicious entrees for us to try. He was attentive and charismatic.

While in Dallas on a short visit, I drove up and down Beltline Road trying to find a good place for a late lunch. I noticed that 2 out of every 4 restaurants offered Mexican food, which is pretty exciting since I love Tex-Mex; however it made it quite difficult in choosing a one. I actually was on my way to On The Border, when I busted a U-Turn because Chuy’s was pretty attractive on the outside, and there were a decent amount of customers parked outside(which is usually a pretty good sign that people love it). As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the host and was seated. My waiter was very pleasant and immediately brought me out chips & salsa, and queso. It was so fresh and I couldn’t stop eating them(considering I am not much a fan of salsa). My waiter was happy to let me know that mostly everything is made from scratch. Feeling adventurous, I asked my waiter to surprise me with a house specialty. He insisted that I try the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken– A tender chicken breast breaded with Lay’s potato chips, deep fried and smothered in Green, and served with green chile rice and refried beans. He insisted that I also add a sunny side egg up on top. I was a little hesitant, but I’m glad I went for it – it was love! Ate every last drop. I ended the meal with a yummy serving of Tres Leches. Overall, my experience was amazing! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was amazing! I Wish I had more time to visit for a happy hour.

I love Chuy’s. I have a problem with how much I love Chuy’s because I can eat about 9 baskets of chips and salsa with queso and then dinner and then dessert. Mmm. Anyway. I’ve been to several Chuy’s locations. My usual is the one in west Plano(Tollway and Parker). I’ve ordered To Go from this Addison Chuy’s before, but never eaten here. My friend M and I went out walking around Arbor Hills in Plano on MLK day since we were both off work. After trekking around that place for a couple of hours, we had the hunger. Oh the hunger. M was on the verge of hangry. We wind up at this Chuy’s at around 3:35. I know their Nacho Car opens at 4, so we were a little early, but I convinced M to not order queso and we’d just get some in 20ish minutes. We sat in the bar area, to be nearer to the wonder that is the Nacho Car. We sat and then we waited… and waited… and waited… The bartender got our drink orders(water and a coke) and brought us some chips and salsa. We weren’t brought menus and M’s coke was way off on the syrup/soda ratio(it looked more like tea than coke and tasted super gross). We waited around a little longer before M got up and went and got menus from the host stand. Around that time, another patron went and got his own menu as well. M and I peruse the menu, deciding what deliciousness we want while we devour the chips and salsa. And then we wait… and wait… The other patron who got his own menu got up and walked over to the bartender to place his order. After this, the bartender came and took our order, too. It’s now after 4 and the Nacho Car isn’t open. A server sees me eyeing it and says she’s setting it up and it’ll be open soon. Sure enough, she does fill it with chips and salsa, but nothing else. A few minutes later, our food arrives, delivered by a different server. She asks if she can get us anything and M says, «Silverware» as it would be difficult to eat her salad without a fork. The servers agrees to get us some and then completely vanishes, along with all of the other servers, apparently. After a few minutes, I walk up to the host stand and get silverware myself– I have to walk around 2 servers and a host to get 2 silverware packages from the basket. Not once did any of them ask if I needed anything or offer to get the silverware for me. At 4:15, I mention to one of the servers who was checking on us that the Nacho Car is still missing most of its goodies. At 4:20, someone from the kitchen finally brings out the queso, beans, etc. for the Nacho Car. I have been wanting queso like no one’s damn business, so despite the fact that our meals are pretty much finished, I go get some and it’s delicious– as always. The food was good, as usual. Every time we actually interacted with a server, they were pleasant… but just not terribly attentive. As we left, I asked to speak to a manager, just to let them know about the huge service discrepancy between this location and the west Plano location. Had the restaurant(or even just the bar) been full, I’d have understood the delays– but it was closer to empty! I had to wait for a manager to come up and she seemed pseudo-concerned. For what it’s worth, I’ll just keep going to the Plano location, despite the Addison one being closer to my house. Their service is consistently better.

Just had dinner with my friend and everything was awesome! This was my first time here, but my friend asssured me that I would love it and I did! I was introduced to the boom boom sauce, which was very tasty and addictive! Loved it so much I had to order the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! Very tasty and spicy, which I loved! Our server Catrina was amazing, friendly, and super efficient! She never missed a beat, especially with the business for NYE! I well definitely be coming back! Thanks for the awesome experience and food!

Chuys is the best Mexican restaurant I ever been to. I love LOVE… Chips and salsa. I think I just go to this place only because of it. But I order some food and margarita later as sides for my chips and salsa. Best Mexican restaurant to go to. I have tried Kenwood, ohio location and fell in love. From then on I tried Addison, Texas and south lake, Texas locations. Both are great. Addison location is great service. South lake has mostly teenage servers felt like they are doing gossips on customers but great food though.

When visiting Dallas this past weekend, our friends suggested we meet at Chuy’s for lunch before we flew back home. The ambiance is very quirky and unique. They have a very interesting tee shirt wall with shirts to buy and the designs were pretty cool. The service was good, our waitress was attentive and also made some suggestions for us first timers on what to order. The portions here are very large, so keep that in mind when ordering. Most plates come with the yellow rice and refried beans. The dessert here is also quite tasty! Overall, very fun place to eat and grab some good Tex-Mex while in Texas!

Always busy, but still get seated quickly. Super friendly staff, and delicious food. Sometimes it’s a little loud, but hey, that’s what happens when tequila is involved. I haven’t had anything there I wouldn’t order again, and again, and again. Beef fajita burrito is great, and down to their plain chicken cheese quesadilla, still on point.

Chuy’s in Addison is a great location. The food is pretty good(I get stuffed rellenos, but always ask for them to be grilled and not fried. So good!), but I go for the Happy Hour! Awesome prices, great drinks, and FREE nacho car! Yum. Ask for Darin! He’s the best!

Queso is out of this world! I had the Chuy’s lite plate & the taco was so good! Guac was fresh & delicious. My husband absolutely loved the steak burrito. The atmosphere was nice & Kelly, our server, was great! She was very sweet, helpful w the menu & was prompt. Thanks so much for the great lunch! We will be back very soon!

Ordered catering from Chuy’s today for my employees. We had a fantastic fajita platter of «The Daddio» for over 100 people. We had so many leftovers it wasn’t even funny. This location was incredibly helpful in explaining everything to me, helping us with our order selection and getting it ready for a pre-noon lunch for our business. Everyone raved about how tasty it was. Thank you to the entire kitchen staff and to Joshua for making the order happen.

I don’t know what all these low ballin reviewers are smoking because Chuy’s is the best TexMex on planet earth. I’ve eaten TexMex all across Texas and I keep coming back to Chuy’s. Their creamy jalapeño sauce is worth 5 stars in and of itself, and the boom boom queso, homemade salsa and tres leches cake take it up to 20 stars… Minimum. Do yourself a favor! Order the chicka chicka boom boom with Mexican rice(instead of cilantro lime), a big marg on the rocks, and a slice of cake for dessert. You’ll be wobbling out with the biggest smile your face has ever experienced!

I came for a weekday lunch and was seated right away. I was immediately greeted by a server trainee and brought chips and salsa. I love their fresh, chunky salsa, it has so much flavor and not too much spice. I also asked for sides of the creamy jalapeño dip(like ranch with a little kick) and deluxe tomatillo(like a creamy green salsa), they’re awesome to dip chips into as well. Heads up on the deluxe tomatillo, it’s a heated sauce so it will take a minute longer coming from the kitchen. I ordered the deluxe chicken enchiladas with blue corn tortillas instead of the regular white it comes with. Do blue corn tortillas taste that much different than white? I don’t really know but I like to think so! Plus, they look cool. They were brought out not long after piping hot. They don’t skimp on the chicken inside and it was moist and tender. The enchiladas come drenched in the deluxe tomatillo sauce, with a side of rice and beans. I like to pour some deluxe tomatillo sauce on the plate and mix it in with my rice and beans, all together. Are you seeing a trend here? I kind of like the deluxe tomatillo sauce! Service, from both the trainee and regular server, was excellent. I wanted for nothing. Definitely give Chuy’s a try next time you’re nearby!

I consider myself an experienced Tex-Mex connoisseur. I also have a knack for Chuy’s, and have been to 6 locations across 2 states. This location had the best salsa I have had at a Chuy’s. It’s all the same recipe, but this one does it better somehow. The chicken here was great… hearty and tasty. It was also the best chicken I have had at a Chuy’s before. The house Margarita was on point. The chips were better as well. Very warm and perfectly seasoned. Great service and an excellent patio that I’ll come back for. The plating was done well here.

I came here with my family, and the service was great! My parents ordered their veggie enchiladas, but asked for flour tortillas instead of corn. When they received their order, my dad received a piece of hair in their order, and the waiter and even the General Manager made them a replacement very quickly, and apologized profusely. I especially love their salsa, which is very fresh and has a nice citrus flavor. I ordered their cheese enchiladas with queso sauce, which was good, but not amazing. Overall, I will be back!

I LOVECHUYS! Came here with my mother-in –law, sister-in-law and newborn baby nephew. First we sat on the patio but then ended up moving inside because it started to sprinkle. The server Trevor did an excellent job at helping us move inside. We were than greeted by John who took care of us the rest of the time. He was very nice, and got everything we needed in a timely manner. Chuys Addison is a newer addition to the Chuy’s family(it’s only been about a year since they have opened) but it’s a cool hangout spot. They have a patio bar outside which is great because in the summer Belt Line is poppin in Addison! All in all Chuys is amazing! Our servers were amazing as well as the food! WEWILLBEBACK!

Upon walking in the place has a bright and fun look to it. There was a wait to sit outside on a Sunday evening so we asked for first available. We were sat inside at a table along the wall. We looked over the drink menu then the food menu. We waited well over fifteen minutes with no one acknowledging us. Multiple servers, busers and even the manager walked by. Finally a server did what I call a «drive by.» Without stopping he walked by our table and said«give me a few minutes guys.» It had already been plenty of minutes and now he didn’t even have the decency to stop and acknowledge us. We got up as asked the hostess to seat us outside. From there service got better. Our waitress was incredibly sweet but she seemed overwhelmed with tables. For dinner I ordered the steak nachos. However, the steak nachos are not what was brought out to me. They gave me the ground beef nachos. At the rate they were going I knew it would take at least an hour to get my order fixed so I just went with it. The ground beef nachos were horrible! The beef was over cooked. It had a dry and crunchy texture to it. I ate a few and gave up. Note: they do not give you napkins. If you want napkins you must ask for them. When you do ask you only get one or two so be sparing! I heard the table behind us complain about this too to the manager and his response was«we don’t give people napkins who sit outside because they blow away.» Gah come on you could have given a better response buddy. Overall service is poor. Our second waitress was sweet but she was scarce often. The food is very poor. Boring flavor and very bland. Drinks are ok. The servers who brought out our drinks would just set them on our table without even making sure they were the right ones. One of the drinks put in front of us the server couldn’t even tell us what it was. «Some sort of margarita» was the answer we were given. Atmosphere here is like a toned down version of Chuck E Cheese. Kids were screaming and running around. Inside is so loud you almost have to yell to hear each other. I’ll probably never return. There’s other restaurants in the area with better service, better food and better atmosphere

I went on a Sunday night, and my friends and I were sat at the bar which was fine other than the fact that it’s a really crowded space. It felt like we were literally in the conversations of the people around us. This made us feel uncomfortable to talk at a normal voice because we didn’t want to be bothering everyone around us. Our server was nice and funny, and had good knowledge of the menu. All of our food was subpar at best. My quesadillas were very obviously cooked on a dirty grill which just so happens to be one of my biggest pet peeves. This place has a nice atmosphere, and original car/dog themed décor. They also have yummy creamy jalapeño dip they bring out before your meal with chips and salsa. I might come back just to try their tres leches cake and have some chips & dip.

Last night my bf and I had dinner here for the first time. Décor was a pleasant surprise, has its own vibe going on which was pretty cool. We were greeted and seated promptly and received no complaint from the host when requesting a booth rather than a table. Chips and salsa were decent, although chips were a bit thin for my preference. We ordered the #1 and #2 combo. I couldn’t understand the waitress when she asked something, I thought about rice but she was repeating my order? I asked her to repeat herself and she finally points to my selection on the menu and says«just say yes». I don’t take very kindly to being told what to do by a stranger, let alone saying«yes» to something I have no clue about. Finally the orders were placed. The result: the Elvis plate was delicious, and the #1 was satisfying enough. I personally wasn’t impressed with the tacos, nor the chili con queso sauce that smothered my plate. Perhaps I just simply prefer authentic mexican food, or perhaps it’s because I’m not a southerner, but I can’t say that it was BAD, just different. Which is nice, right? I personally prefer On The Border but my bf seemed to think otherwise. So try it out! Just don’t ask a waitress to repeat herself. Lol!
