Fernwalk Guest Cottage was totally renovated and opened for business at the end of 2011. The 1600 sq. ft. cottage is managed by the 5-​star Hartzell House B & B and is often booked by guests visiting Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.

We stayed at Fernwalk in June and had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were first class down to the finest details. Beautiful woodwork, a gourmet kitchen with all the amenities, clean laundry facilities, a great outdoor space on the deck, and cozy spots to sit and read from the extensive book collection. We all had savory pancakes at the B&B next door one morning and enjoyed Ohiopyle State Park tremendously. After spending the day white water rafting and hiking, Fernwalk was a great place to return to for relaxation. We hope to come back soon to finish exploring this beautiful area.
