Hyatt House Dallas Addison

We stay here about 5 to 6 times a year. Great location, awesome staff, and love that they have kitchens in all rooms. Excellent view for the July 3^rd, Addison, fireworks!

Stayed here in a double room suite for an event at the Addison Conference Center. One room has a king bed and the other has a queen. Each has a bathroom and its own tv. There is a living room area with a couch (pulls out to become a bed) as well as a desk, dining table and a kitchen area that is fully stocked with the basics to cook. With so much space, it would be a great place for a group/​family to stay, especially for the price. The double room and rest of the room would provide comfortable space for 2 to 6. Everything was no longer new but still fairly well maintained. No complaints. Breakfast was pretty good relative to free breakfasts. Varying among the days we were there there was ham, sausage, waffles, pancakes, fruit, cereal, juices, cottage cheese as well as omelettes made to order! Very nice. I would definitely consider this place again if I were in the Addison/​Dallas Area.

This is a great place to stay, especially when traveling with kids. I had booked a king suite, but when the front desk lady learned that I was traveling with several kids, she upgraded us to a double suite (two bedroom/​two bathroom) for free. Super nice front desk, fast and easy check in. The room is pretty stocked, they have plates, silverware, cups, an oven, pots and pans (no pizza pan, but you can cook it on the rack), full size fridge and microwave, dishwasher. The room appeared clean; bathrooms and showers, kitchen, were all clean. I am a bit of a germ freak, so I always wipe the remotes, toilets, tables. (ok, pretty much everything) with sanitizing wipes. I did find an old tank top under one bed, and a fast food wrapper under another. The air vents were also dusty. Other than that, everything was very clean, including the insides of the microwave and fridge. Thankfully, they don’t have nasty multicolored comforters and throw pillows on the beds like regular hotels. Just fresh, pressed white sheets and a light comforter and blanket; all crisp white, and clean. The living room also has a fully made up pullout sofa. I slept there with my youngest, and it was pretty comfortable as far as pullouts go, and with minimal squeaking. Both bedrooms and the living room have a tv; the living room has a dvd player (not blu ray), three telephones and free wifi. The wifi was pretty slow, but that isn’t a big deal for me. They also have a ‘borrow’ program, where you can borrow items from the from desk like board games, bbq tools, etc. The grounds were very well lit at night, and the pool was clean and also lit. The grounds are well kept, and beautiful. Lots of squirrels playing in the beautiful trees everywhere, plants and hedges create a secluded feeling, even though you are in the middle of a busy area. They also have a basketball court. It’s just a wonderful little place, definitely a step up from staying at a regular hotel, and the price isn’t bad for what you get. There are airplanes going over pretty frequently during the day, but we didn’t hear many at night. We stayed on the second floor, and I definitely recommend INSISTING on top floor. All night, and early in the morning, we heard heavy footsteps above us, and coming up and down the stairs, even though I had my rain app on for white noise.

Horrible experience. The room I was quoted and booked was much higher so decided to cancel. Needless to say, the card that was Not supposed to be charged, yup it got charged. Never spent one second in the room and spent $ 111.00 Got to the restaurant and had to leave my wife on her birthday and sneak to the ATM because my card showed delinquent DO to a hundred plus dollar room I never stayed in. Never more! Thanks Hyatt House Addison. Next time at least could you spit on it!!! #ModernDayRobbery

The room was amazing and beyond met our expectations. We cannot wait to stay here again. The people at the front desk were so nice and informative. We loved the set up of the hotel. It was like we were in an apartment not a hotel room.

I have stayed at this location twice and at the end of the day, if you want a home away from home, this is the place.
What I like about this place is it is like an apartment. You get a good size room, very comfortable bed, good size living area and kitchen is fully stocked.
By that I mean there are plates, pits/​pans, glasses, all the cooking utensils you need.
I’ve used it for a weekend getaway with the significant other as a chance for us to get away, cook, relax, feel like we are out of town but still just a few minutes from home.
My only issue with my last stay was that we were in the last building as far as away from the front office and the Wi-​Fi reception was bad. It was very spotty. And one of the things we wanted to do was eat dinner and watch a movie. Needless to say, no movie watching that night.
I have stayed there before and the Wi-​Fi reception was better, if it is important to you, just make sure you stay closer to the middle or near the front office.
The lobby is newly redone and breakfast is good.
I could see where it could get a bit noisy because some people do like to linger outside.
It is extremely close to places to go out and eat, there is a super Walmart about three minutes away on the Dallas tollway and getting in and out of there is very easy.
The staff is very nice.
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Addison and want it to feel kind of like an apartment, a home away from home, choose this place.

I’m staying here for a couple months while working in the area. I have to say the place really impresses me. I got a 2 bedroom with a co worker, and I got the king. My room is very comfortable with plenty of room, but my roommates I have to say is much smaller. I have a king and he has a queen. I have a walk in closet, and he has a folding mirror closet. I have a full bath with walk in shower, and he has a counter with a shower/​tub combo. The common area is pretty nice, and has a decent sized kitchen area that is fully equipped with just about what ever you need. No need to bring anything as they provide all the cleaning supplies you’ll need, and clean the room everyday for you. The only thing that sucks is the tops to the pyrex containers/​«tupper ware» are all broken and don’t work very well. There’s about ten of us that stay here and everyone’s stuff is the exact same. The internet definitely sucks. So don’t come expecting much. I can’t even get online with my Playstation. The breakfast here is second to none. They have omelets made to order daily along with a variety of fresh juices, scrambled eggs, potato wedges, french toast, fresh cut fruit variety, yogurt varieties, dry cereals, oatmeal, etc. as you can see it’s basically everything you could want and comes free with the room. Makes the cost of the place probably the cheapest around. I can’t believe how much comes with these rooms with them being as cheap as they are. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. I haven’t felt like anyone was rude, impatient or unwilling to go the extra mile to help. Really have loved my stay here so far. Can’t wait to come back here for my next training session.

Lots of pros and cons about this place, check out the list below. I had a good experience overall thanks to the prompt and responsive actions of the staff– they were phenomenal! The original room I stayed in had some wifi connectivity issues which were resolved shortly after I notified the front desk. Then I noticed a lose cover for the A/​C unit which created an annoying rattling sound. Additionally, I had some really noisy neighbors that moved in upstairs. When I notified the front desk about both issues, they immediately assigned me a new room on the top floor. The rooms here are very spacious with a living room, kitchen (fridge, microwave, dish washer, oven, stove, etc.), dinning room table, plenty of desk space, queen bed, small walk-​in closet, and two large flat-​screen tv’s! The rooms were so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave! Granted I was there for almost a week so staying indoors during the entire time would’ve driven me crazy!

Nice place to stay. Its central to everything we like to do in Addison. Free wifi, free breakfast, nice clean, quiet spacious rooms are actually small apartments. Wife says this is her favorite place to stay in Addison. The staff is super friendly and courteous.

EW! This place seriously has a bug problem. Last night there was a bug in my bathroom and I had to call maintenance to come get it, it took them 49 mins to come to my room. I came back to my room and I was cautious to look for bugs again and look again, and there it was another one. No wonder I couldn’t sleep well last night as I thought I was hearing bug crawling around in my room.
I am transferring room but if I find another one in the other room, all hell will break loose. I will definitely need to find another hotel. I am disgusted.

This was a really great spot which i expect to become my new go-​to for DFW visits. I was traveling with a co-​worker and so we upgraded to the two bedroom suite — which is pretty much a small apartment. The young lady that helped us check in was friendly and funny — I wish I could remember her name but it was something close to Dora (which is wrong). The rooms were not only large but very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Parking was a breeze. I didn’t get a chance to check out breakfast so it will be interesting to compare this to other HHs that tend to gravitate to the mediorce for food. The only thing that was a negative was their caveman wifi. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot since I didn’t have three days to wait for a webpage to load. It isn’t super critical — but surprisingly bad form for a business-​focused hotel.

So while the Hyatt House is not a «Five Star» hotel, for the caliber hotel and what I paid per night the team at the Hyatt House gave a 5 Star experience. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant and incredibly accommodating. I haven’t done any research but my assumption is this place was previously an apartment community that Hyatt (or someone before them) converted into an extended stay hotel, and they did a great job! I stayed at the Hyatt House in 2 differenet rooms during a recent 2 week work assignment in Dallas. My first room was a 2 Bedroom that I shared with a roommate, and it was great! I didn’t hear her when she woke up and showered, and there was more than enough space for both of us (as it was literally a 2 bedroom/​2 bathroom apartment). My second room, was a single and again it was super spacious. TV’s in the living area, TV’s in all bedrooms (yes there were 2 TV’s in the single), dining room table, desk, nice kitchen, and a full living room set up. It’s really perfect for any extended stay you have in the Dallas/​Addison area.
The girls that worked the night shift were super accommodating and friendly. We were there over Cinco de Mayo and decided rather than braving the crowds we would order in and make our own margaritas to sip and enjoy poolside. Due to the rain we couldn’t have our «party» out by the pool they let us set up inside in the dining area without any hassle at all. Then when we started to clean up and asked for something to wipe down the area with, because we had made a slight mess they insisted that they would clean up and that we should just go enjoy our night!
A few other pluses: Free Wi-​Fi, decent complimentary breakfast (I had made to order omelets almost every day, can’t complain.) Walking distance to a few cute little restuaruants and bars, and some well known establishments as well BJ’s, Outback, On the Border, and a few others. Restuarant on site, Room Service, and even a little onsite bar.
The only downfall in my opinion was this is a Garden Style, walk up community… that means if you’re upstairs there is no elevator! The luggage I was carrying for 2 weeks worth of travel made that pretty crummy, but they did try to find me a 1^st floor suite without any hassel.

It was comfortable, clean and very spacious. Looks outdated from outside but inside is all renovated and new. They serve really amazing breakfast too. We found it on our first trip to Dallas and felt really fortunate! Definitely recommend

This isn’t my favorite Hyatt in Dallas but it does the job. I don’t like the outdoor doors to the rooms and I really wish they offered express checkout rather than needing to go to the front desk to wait for multiple receipts to print and sign. They offer a decent free breakfast with omelet station. This is a minor quibble, but they used to offer V-​8 and now they only have tomato juice, boo. The free wifi has never worked for me, even though it shows that I’m connected. The courtesy shuttle stops at 7pm whereas some Hyatts nearby go until 8pm or even 10pm. On my three visits thus far, my first did not have a working hair dryer and the second didn’t have a hair dryer in the room at all. On my third visit, the hair dryer worked in the outlet near the bed but not the outlets in the bathroom, living room or where the tv was plugged in. I called the front desk the night before and twice in the morning to request a hair dryer and never received one. This didn’t put a huge wrinkle in my day as I’m not into drying my hair anyway and will find any excuse not to, but I assume it would be a problem for most business travelers. I have been put in the one and two bedrooms suites and both are nice with very comfy beds and linens. The location is near many restaurants and shopping which is a bonus if you like to walk to options close by. The best part about this place is the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk.

We stayed at Hyatt house for four days over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The room was so clean! The two bedroom/​2 bath suite was perfect for our family of five. It had enough beds (one a sofa bed) for everyone to be happy, and enough room we were not walking all over each other. The suite had a stocked kitchen with all the glassware and utensils, a dishwasher, full stove and oven, and a microwave. The area around the hotel has a great deal of restaurants and shopping nearby– for all those little things you inevitably forget or when you don’t want to utilize the kitchen. We will definitely be staying here whenever we come back into town to visit family!

This is my new home away from home when I travel to Dallas for business. Convenient Addison location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, free wifi and a great complimentary breakfast with made to order egg white omelets. Reasonably priced too!

This is my first time in Dallas and I feel so fortunate to have found the Hyatt House Addison. I came with my family for the Texas-​Oklahoma game and we have a 2BR/​2BA suite. The entire hotel staff is phenomenal and it’s really evident that guest satisfaction is their top priority. The rooms are immaculately clean and the housekeeping staff is amazingly efficient. The servers are super friendly as are the staff at the front desk with Daniel being a true stand-​out. He has gone above and beyond to ensure my family’s stay here is as comfortable as it can be and I can tell he treats all the guests this way. I’m further amazed that this kind of top-​notch service comes at such a great price. I can say without the slightest hesitation that if I ever come back to the Dallas area, this is where I’m definitely staying again.

Great price, great comfortable rooms, great location and pretty decent breakfast. Wish they still did the afternoon socials instead of their H-​Bar. Internet can be shoddy and unreliable sometimes.

I was impressed with the overall experience my coworkers and I had. They stepped it up even more to my surprise when my group left behind a few valuables. Without hesitation they returned them via FedEx. We stayed here due to the reviews, and were not let down. Thank you Hyatt House Staff for top notch service:)

We got upgraded to the 2 bedroom suite that had 1 king, 2 fulls, and a pullout with 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space and a nice kitchen. Beds/​pillows were comfy and rooms were clean. Bathrooms could use some updating. Great prices!
Free breakfast everyday and a wine/​beer happy hour from 5:30 — 7:30pm.
