Worst place in addison and Texas to go to, people smoke in the club, you come out of there smelling like straight piss and smoke, walked out without buying anything soooo disappointed

I always go to Club Nai, Addison for the Reggae/African vibe. I will probably still go again eventually due to the fact that there are no other African clubs. But my experience on Saturday 12/20, just ticked me off. We were a large group of about 18 people, there was no available sitting apart from the VIP. We sat there and the hostess comes and tells us we have to have bottle service. Here is the thing, there has to be someone there with smarts enough to know, that if you have a group of 18, chances are we shall spend more than the bottle amount you want to collect. We are all grown, all have our own choice of drinks and I can bet you, we would have bought more drinks than the cost of the two bottles. So making us buy a bottle of Vodka to share would actually be limiting the amount the club makes. Some of us ended up leaving in protest because I am not going to stand around when there is no sitting. And to make matters worse, it’s not like the tables were reserved. By the time we got there, the hostess let me know that if we wanted to continue sitting there, we would have to buy a bottle. Smh! The group that was left did buy 2 bottles just so they can have a place to sit. But all of us agreed, it will be a while before we go there again.

Love it here. Cozy African centric. Kind of a dive but the food is so ethic and great. Off you are looking for African crowd and music this is a great spot. The best in Dallas. Five starts after renovations.

I’ve never been here, but this establishment let someone charge $ 450 who stole my credit card number with obviously no ID check which I’m fighting currently. Screw this place.

This is a good place to go and listen to contemporary/mainstream African music. It is a restaurant bar that turns into a dance club at night. Note: free entry before 10pm, otherwise $ 10 cover charge. I love that this place has ample free seating and even if you come later(like 11:30pm) you can still find a spot. The dance floor is small and packed, so many people are at their tables dancing, eating or drinking. I didn’t have dinner here, but I did try a cocktail and their buffalo wings. I can’t comment on the price(as I didn’t pay or ask), but everything tasted good, even the celery and carrots on the plate were fresh and delicious. It’s a good hangout spot for the young crowd– I’d say 20 – 35 yrs.old. It’s really crowded on Saturday nights, and it takes the servers a while to get to you, but hey… that’s nightlife.

Fun, relaxed, upbeat club/bar to go to to have a good drink, dance and eat some good, cheap bar food… the mild buffalo wings and fries are a definite go to if you’ve got the munchies. You can play pool there, dance, mingle, just an overall good place to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.

I am only giving three stars because I really enjoyed the African cuisine. I would give 1.5 stars otherwise. Had I gone to the bathroom before I ate, I would have never eaten there. The bathroom was GROSS! It looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. This place is basically a hole in the wall, but it has potential. They have good happy hour specials. Some of the best in Addison. Ciroc for $ 5 is unheard of in DFW. KUDOS to that. I ordered the beef curry with cabbage and spicy spinach and it was excellent. This was only my second time having African cuisine and this time was far better than the first(a place in Garland was the first.) I actually had no idea this was an African sports bar/grill until I arrived. I will likely go back for happy hour because their specials are nice. They have a pool table and it’s a small business(which I love to support.) Parking is scarce so get there early. Don’t use the bathroom unless you want to be grossed out. Try the beef curry dish. A few recommedations to the business owners: 1. Next time you have a large event, make sure you have enough servers and enough bartenders 2. Clean your restrooms more thoroughly and often 3. Keep up the good work on the food

Went for a poetry event a couple of days ago. They did have decent drink specials for a Friday. It’s a little dive-ish, but the people were friendly. There is a stage, but is was awkwardly positioned, so it was a little hard to see the performance. The acoustics were also a little off. Parking is very limited, but I parked across Addison Rd, in an area with some businesses. It seemed like others did the same, but to be on the safe side, you may want to get there early.

Me and Dallas, we were chilling this past weekend(the city, not some Man. I don’t have one of those). Anyway, Sunday night was my last night in the city, so my friend and I didn’t want to waste our Sunday nursing hangovers. So, Nai it was. I wasn’t expecting this kind of night to take place. But, when I walked into the club, I was treated to AMAZING music, both African and Reggae vibes, in addition, they threw in some of my ratchet favorites, like A$AP Rocky and 2CHAINNNNNNNZ. We danced, some more than others. We drank, some WAYMORE than others, but most of all, we had a ball. I must tell you, there was a guy who was dancing better than every dude AND every chick in there! I don’t know if he was high or what, but boy was he putting on a show! Then, toward the end of the night, he found the stage, and he was cutting a rug while drinking his water. Quite entertaining. In conclusion, I truly enjoyed this place, the eye-candy wasn’t that great, but I definitely enjoyed myself. Dallas showed me a great time and most definitely will be back here during my next trip!

Only went to this place because it is a meetup group’s Chicago Steppers Class on Thursday evenings. I don’t do the whole bar, club thing. This is a room without a view. I can’t wait for Addison to turn Non-smoking.yuck. I only stayed for the class which after it was done the music got 50x’s louder and turned clubby. My time to leave.

Don’t waste your gas. So on the way out to Nai bar we drove right past it. Everyone in the car was alert and sober waiting to get to the spot that we heard so much about only to be disappointed. So how could three sober and alert men pass by a bar we drove 30 miles to get to? Because it was a hole in the wall, no name restaurant with a tiny, dimly lit sign. We pulled into a small parking lot where a hispanic guy told us it was«7 dollar» for valet. Their valet consisted of a part of the parking lot blocked out by some cheap looking cones. Anyway we told the valet wed take care of him on the way out only to be stopped by a girl on a laptop who didn’t look up from her facedbook page to tell us there was a 5 dollar cover. 5 bucks to get into a square room with 4 girls and 17 guys. The employees looked depressed, everything in this place was sadening. Moral of the story is, next time I see a flyer with both 5.99 steaks and drinks specials, I know I’m better off staying at home playing halo. Yea that’s right I said it, Halo suckers.
