Love this place. Amazing staff food and drinks. If you like Pub style places, then this is it. Be aware it’s a craft beer place not a normal in the bottle place. They give free samples before you buy. It helps to make choices.

Finally, a place in Addison with no smoking and great beers and drinks. If you’re new to the bar and don’t know what to drink or need ideas, Stephanie is the way to go! She is so knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is great! However, if you are a smoker, don’t fear, they share a liquor license with the hub and can walk between the two bars!

I love coming to this bar on Sunday’s. Especially since this is the home of the DFWRAIDERNATION! Great service, solid food. I never have any complaints. The bar tenders are quick and accurate. And everything comes out fairly quickly. They have a huge liquor menu and that’s always a plus. Best part about Ron’s place is that it’s non smoking! Highly recommend this place if you just want to chill, relax, have a few drinks and watch some sports.

Let’s put it this way. I went here on a Groupon, the Groupon was still available, and I bought it again while I was still at the restaurant. I’ll call this 4.5 stars because the burger was very good but not one of my top 5. Great service, good clientele, great atmosphere, great beer, sweet whiskey selection(yes!), and very good food. Very cool place. We’ll be back.

As good a neighborhood place as you could ever expect to find. Stephanie is extremely knowledgeable with all craft beers and spirits. Pint night on Thursday is a great way to try different special release craft beers. Bottom line, give the place a try you will not be disapointed.

What a lovely hidden gem. Its a small dark pub, quaint, and well decorated. Servers/bartenders are always kind and friendly. Salads are surprisingly delicious and they offer a great array of drinks/beers!

A good selection of high end craft beers and whiskey. Food was good. Bartender was fairly knowledgeable whit what they served. Nice place to unwind.

This place is like a beautiful facsimile of the original in Bedford– same long, cool bar– same comfy plentiful banquette seating — same nifty old beer can collection –even the same kind of quality employees. They must be very selective(& then presumably treat their people well) because I’ve never had anything less than excellent, expert service at Ron’s in Bedford, and I always see the same staff. Addison is off to a good start with friendly attentive staff & a very, very impressive beer list. Bold move, coming into Flying Saucer territory– but if Ron’s can maintain the kind of awesome beer experience I’ve come to expect in Bedford, I’ll choose them when a night of drinking takes me to Addison, too. Highlight of my night was Smuttlabs Smoke Peach Weisse, which was the perfect recommendation based on my mood at the time, complex, sour & odd. Unlike any Berliner Weisse I’ve ever had, and I usually avoid smoke & fruit in my beer.

Great spot, found it leaving another bar. Great beer selection, friendly bar tender, good atmosphere. Hands down one of the best bars in Addison

While I was in the Addison area I decided to drop by Ron’s Place, the bar which opened up right next The Hub in Addison. The first thing you’ll notice is the paint fumes have gone, which were pretty strong if you visited The Hub while they were putting Ron’s together. It’s brand new, squeaky clean and all polished. As you walk in the bar is along the left side, tables to the right and at the back. There’s a few TVs behind the bar which is adorned by the many whiskys, scotches and bourbons. There’s also a fantastic collection of beer cans which the owner has amassed. Unfortunately they’re not all available for drinking. That said, there was a nice selection of tap beers, the regular suspects and a few unusual ones that are worth a try. There’s also plenty to try that aren’t on tap. The food menu has a few things on that I would like to try but I wasn’t hungry the evening I was there. I will definitely be back to judge the fish and chips! Finally, the staff, those both working and not(Paul and Stephanie), were friendly and were happy to offer advice on what’s good to imbibe. Overall, good atmosphere for a new place, great service, good drink menu, reserving that coveted 5th star for when I go back and try the food.

Great service! Stephanie talked through the extensive drink menu and helped guide us to excellent beer selections. The rotating beer menu will keep us coming back. Love the local brewery representation as well as the other brews from all over. Thursday night pint nights are a plus too. Will be checking that out soon! For food I ordered the Cuban with chips. Amazing sandwich. Pulled pork smoked on site, chips perfectly crispy. Great sandwich! My husband ordered the fish and chips. The fish was a little too heavy on breading for my taste, but he ate it all and enjoyed it very much. Décor is pretty neat, old cans, Edison bulbs, nice display behind the bar — over all fun and funky eclectic and elevated beer ambiance. If you’re in Addison, it is a must do place. You can access the hub as well, but you’d be hard pressed to leave rons place.

Horrible customer service. We brought a group of 8 around 11:45 on a Saturday night. Everyone was planning on ordering food and several drinks(easily $ 300 total). When Michael finally got around to serving us at 12:03, he informed us the kitchen closed at midnight. Without even checking with the kitchen he said there was nothing he could do; no food he could get. Nothing. So right off the bat he cut our tab in half just because he didn’t ask us 18 minutes earlier if we wanted to put in a food order before the kitchen closed. We decided most will stay and order a drink while I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to grab some food for everyone. When I come back Michael informs me that even though their kitchen is closed I’m not allowed to have outside food there. Done. We all left annoyed after only having one drink. These people clearly have no idea how to run a bar. It doesn’t matter how good your beer is if your waiters are all jerks to the customers. Don’t get me wrong, Michael was very polite while providing horrible customer service. We won’t be back.

Great beer selection! Great service! Incredibly knowledgeable staff, it was great to sample some new beers, but also to receive a bit of an education

Yuck. Delivery order. The order was wrong. On both of our dinners. Even got food items that we did not order. Inedible. I actually feel sick to my stomach. The menu looked good. What a huge disappointment. I do not want to give even 1 star.

First time here and it was a great impression. Our waitress/bartender, Stephanie, definitely shows pride about Ron’s Place. This is a definitely a newbie to the Addison area. To me, it’s a pub, with a beer menu that is constantly updated, featuring local and imported beers. No smoking allowed! Follow them on Facebook for upcoming events such as beer pairing with food nights and many more. The beer can collection over the past 50 years by the owner’s uncle is quite impressive. I did order something to munch on. The Chef’s cheeseboard. Selection was smoked gouda, dill havarti and a type of cheddar. Served with green grapes, strawberries, and an abundant amount of prosciutto, soprasetta, and salami. I asked for a jam but all they had was strawberry that tasted like a heavy dose of high fructose syrup. it would be nice to have a non gmo or organic jam plus some mustard. would totally balance the palette out. Overall, I’d visit again, for more beer and the fish(cod) & chips!

Quaint little place right next to The Hub. In fact there’s a door which connects both so you don’t have to go outside one place to get in to the other. The smell of newness and everything nice still lingers around the room. They have craft beers on tap which I’ve never seen before. We ordered a shandy and and old fashioned and both are priced fairly inexpensive. Our tab for two good drinks were only $ 12. Out bar tender Stephanie was helpful and informative. We will definitely comeback.
