Scooter’s Coffee

In a pinch this place will do. Nothing really stands out. Well maybe the ham-​fisted way they try to sell you a membership card.
Whenever I end up here it is never planned. I just happen to be in the area.

Not impressed at all. I drove out of my way just to try this place because of all the great reviews it received… so not worth it. I can’t remember what I ordered but I only took like 5 sips and trashed it. Total waste of money.

Love this little place. Coffee is SO GOOD. I was a Starbucks person but I decided to branch out and I’m glad I did. Starbucks is too crowded and the location down the street takes way too long. Why wait there when you can go her? I would much rather give my money to this establishment than Starbucks. The people working there are very sweet and pleasant

I like that it’s a drive thru only place. It’s convenient in that aspect. The location is awkward though. It faces the opposite direction of the morning commute to Dallas North Tollway and I 635. Nobody wants coffee anymore after 5:00. I drove by around 8:30 and nobody was in line. The service was quick but the girl started to sell me a gift card. I was personally turned off because I just want to grab and coffee and run. Too early to be bribed, sorry.
I drink a lot of coffee, so I feel like I can make a good judgement on this. I wasn’t impressed. It definitely wakes you up, but nothing I couldn’t make at home. I had their specialty coffee on another occasion, but I couldn’t finish it. It tasted weird in a bad way. Coffee should not taste like potpourri.
I feel like the menu is lacking a lot. A lot of pastry type stuff, which is unappealing to me for breakfast. The menu is hard to read. The pictures are too big and the words are too small. I’m left slightly unimpressed. I only come here when I’m famished and I am nearby this establishment, but in my good judgement, I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here.

I love this place! The customer service is so genuine, not like fake people who just count you as an order. They always have suggestions about new drinks to try. My favorite is the soy almond joy latte. And to make things better, when I want a little less chocolate in my latte they are willing to make it happen. Bring us more scooters!

Love their turtle latte! Such a cute drive through coffee place, and usually no crazy lines to go through.

The coffee in this place is really good and tasteful. I’ve tried the carameliato and I love it. This place is like homemade coffee shop! And it’s drive-​thru.

Changed my review from 5 stars to 2 after I found something unexplainable floating jn my coffee.

Really friendly staff in a little drive up shed. The coffee was decent, but I wouldn’t call it any better than Starbucks. Of course this is a cheaper option. Not sure I’d go out of my way for the product here.

Sweet employees and awesome coffee, simple as that. For my first visit I came inside because I didn’t know the menu, and she helped me out and I used the dollar off coupon, can’t wait to visit again!

Love this place! Local joint. The drive thru window is super high up. fyi. I got the frozen turtle beverage. I got a cinnamon roll as well which was large, not a cheap tiny one. I definitely will be back.

Why do people even go to the Starbucks in Addison??!
Scooters has better coffee, no line and is way cheaper! I didn’t want to share this gem but I really want them to stay open, and if you love something talk about it!
The frozen drinks taste like real coffee, not just ice whipped cream and artificial crap but real, rich coffee!!! They are super friendly and helpful. I usually get the turtle latte blend, so yum!!! I haven’t had much of their food to review it… but who cares? Coffee!!!

Scooter’s coffee is delicious! I’m glad something with potential occupy this spot. It used to be flipping crepes and I miss it.
This is on the way to the Galleria and Tiff’s treats in Addison. :-D I stopped by to see what they have to offer. I ordered a small hot caramelicious beverage with soy milk and it came out to be almost $ 5. Taste was on point. It did taste like caramel. Have a latte with whipped cream and whoa, awesome!!! I approve this place!

Quick. The hot chocolate is as perfect as it gets. This is a better alternative to Starbucks. Everyone in our group was impressed with the coffee. A little better in price too.

I’m going to stick to giving them 5 stars because I want them to stick around! As many have said, it is a great alternative to waiting the always epic line at the oddly situated Starbucks down the road. The shopping lot they are in is quite sad (there’s a sign that says there’s a big renovation going on… in February of 2013, hah!) so I hope they can lure enough people away from Starbucks and the very-​good-​but-​no-​drive-​thru Dunn Bros. I usually get an iced coffee which is good but so is the latte (they always offer an extra shot and I’m easily lead so I always do it but it’s nothing I ever do on my own, way to hustle!) I have not had great luck with their baked goods– the lemon cake tasted very chemically. But the coffee is great and I after reading some of these other reviews, I’m going to try some new stuff! Ever since m beloved Seattle’s Best closed down (RIP those delicious waffles they sold and their little Hot Pocket sandwiches) this is now my favorite drive-​thru coffee kiosk!

I originally tried Scooters because the line at Starbucks was way too long. I had seen scooters a couple times but had never tried it. Needless to say it was awesome and didn’t have too long of a line which was great. It’s definitely my go to coffee shop now and has quickly become a favorite! It’s great because no matter what you order you can still taste the actual coffee, even if it’s one of the sweeter options.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because it was the best service from a drive thru I’ve ever had. Granted, there’s not a huge line like Starbucks or anything, but this little coffee shack surprised me. I drive by here all the time and never seen a line.
The menu offered both mixed coffee drinks, regular coffee, and some food and the prices were decent. I ordered the iced coffee and pulled up. The employee was extremely friendly and courteous and before handing me my coffee asked if I would like a flavored cream (hazelnut, peppermint, cinnamon, etc.). When I said cinnamon, she made the drink and waited until I took my first sip and asked if I would like more cream, sugar, or a different flavor. It didn’t feel like I was in my car at a typical drive thru. It felt more like I was ordering from a restaurant. The drink was one of those where you wished you ordered a bigger size when you were done with it. Very good coffee.
It’s nice to know there’s an awesome, convenient coffee shop that’s never crowded.

Best tasting coffee I’ve had in a longtime if ever. I’ve tried pretty much most of their coffee beverages. My favorite could be a toss up of a scooter shooter, which is a large coffee with 3 espresso shots, or a plain black iced coffee. No sugar or cream needed. That’s how good this coffee is. And I’m one that loves those high fat coffee drinks around the corner. They do not get my business anymore. Hello scooters forever!
