Took 25 minutes for our food to be delivered. All the food was lukewarm and definitely was sitting around before being delivered The restaurant seem very short staffed.

I love their Cabo Combo(Shrimp burrito and Fish Taco, beans and chips) and their Fish Tacos! They also have really awesome quesadillas… I used to live down in Orange County, and this one is just as good as the one in Rancho Santa Margarita. I’ve never really been a fan of their salsas, I wish they had a standard salsa recipe, like Mexican restaurants did, though.

Excellent clean food I had the bacon/shrimp burrito with beans and chips and drink for about $ 10. I thought it was really tasty and quite enough food. Th shrimp was fresh and crunchy and the different hot sauces were good. I would definitely go back. Now my wife was not as impressed and said her steak burrito was kind of cold(not warmed enough) and not super tasty. Whatever… Help was very friendly… Good place

I like this place food was fresh and the ambiance is nice. It doesn’t have that Taco Bell feel of fried, mass produced food. Even has a salsa bar. I had a nice chopped salad with shrimp — served in a reusable plate. good road food clean and very friendly waitstaff. I’d stop at one of their locations! I think they started in San Diego

Pleasantly surprised by this yummy new place! We were referred here by a friend and we have decided to make this a new place we will dine at. I ordered a chicken especial burrito, and it was delish! My mom ordered a mahi taco and lobster taco, she enjoyed it very much! The reason for only 4 stars is purely because of location, Hesperia needs a rubio’s!

This was my first time at a Rubio’s, and it did not disappoint. The moment you walk in the door, you know it is going to be good. The décor is nice, and the scents coming off the grill. I ordered a shrimp bacon burrito. Can’t go wrong with bacon. Lol. Plus, it had avocado on it, so I figured it to be a triple threat. I ordered it to go, and when I got home and bit into the burrito, my taste buds did a backflip. I’m not saying it’s the best burrito ever, but it is really good. The shrimp, bacon, avocado combination, combined with the jalapeño citrus chile, worked great together. My order was ready quickly, and the cashier was friendly. A good dining experience

We stopped in from traveling from Laughlin, Nevada, to West Los Angeles and ordered some tacos. We normally like the shrimp gourmet tacos and the fish tacos, but we found this location puts too much salsa on the tacos. They have a salsa bar and you should be able to put your own salsa on them according to your taste and liking. So my recommendation is skip the extra salsa and let you make it the way you want it. The white sauce is A-okay, though. Service was overall good, but just had that one critique: Let the customer put their own salsa on the tacos. Thanks.

Love the fish tacos! Cashier named Sylvia recommended them as a first time visitor, and even offered to get me something else if I didn’t like them. Very friendly and she made my stay a memorable one.

I picked up some take out for the Fam tonight and it was delcious. Requested special made burritos and the came out perfect. I’m really picky and my quality of meat matters. Fresh, tender and tasty. Sauces were mouth watering, and the citrus rice goes burn on Chipotle. Manager Sam was very professional, polite and diligent to accommodate all my special requests. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Food is fresh, with great service and they also serve beer and sangria. The wait was not long at all.

I really like how Rubio’s has redone their menus lately. i’m a big fan of the newtypes of tacos & burritos that are now available. I like the flavor combinations, and they are usually well-done. Unfortunately, I had an overall very negative experience here, for a lot of reasons. There was one cashier and a medium line of people. It took 5 – 10 minutes for us to even get to the counter. We order food & take a seat. We overhear, when a group that was ahead of us complains, that there was a significant wait on food coming out. By this point we feel committed. Our friends(who ate next door instead), wander over as they’ve finished their meals… ours aren’t even close to being done. I don’t know what 5 – 6 people behind the counter could possibly be doing so slowly, but all of the orders took a ridiculously long time. At least I was looking forward to my shrimp taco! Aaaaand the last let-down came when the taco consisted of 5 of the tiniest shrimp I’ve literally ever seen on a taco, smothered in some cream sauce with no other toppings. It was gone in 3 – 4 bites. and it was like $ 3.50. Go figure. Super slow service, didn’t tell me there would be a wait, gave me a tiny«gourmet» taco, and there were many tables that hadn’t been cleared out in the dining area. Terrible.

Hey this is a nice stop on the way to some other place. The manager was super friendly and the food wasn’t the worst. Given that there is a religious segment of time when people of certain faith cant eat meat on Fri. This place should be killin it! Which brings us to the most popular item that was recommended, the Shrimp Burrito, it was I will say… alright. The best thing is the salsa bar, the food feels healthy, go for the sea food things.

Good but overpriced… especially for the area… fresh food, but i dont really care for fish which seems to be the mainstay. Nice salsa bar and friendly staff.

I only go to Rubio’s for one thing and it’s their fish tacos. Although this one is far from my house I was excited to have some of their original fish tacos but I was highly disappointed. The shells were over cooked, so that made them dry and hard. The fish was mushy and had some kind of herb or something that made them very displaying to the pallet. I’m sad bc I love Rubio’s but living in the high desert we are extremely limited(there is only one) and this makes me never want to eat there.

I rarely give all five stars but the woman at the register and the server provided impressive service! Our food was delicious but we didn’t like some of the sauces that came with the California bowl and the chicken salad and they were helpful in exchanging out some ingredients. The people who work there genuinely care about what they do and their customers. Small steps go miles and I’m pleased that they know that! Thank you and keep up the great work!

It was my first time coming to a Rubios and it had Delicious food, great prices. It cute clean restaurant, relaxing atmosphere! I got the lobster burrito and my bro got the salmon burrito. They cut the burrito in half so we each got a half of eachothers burrito. The lobster one was okay but I liked the salmon burrito more. Try em both and see what you like best! :)
