Fresh seafood! Great atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. The bartender Amy is awesome and mixes some great drinks!

Discovered this restaurant using Unilocal. We are driving from Lake Norman to Raleigh and wanted to take the bday boy someplace other than fast food. There are healthy broiled choices to choose from. You will get a bowl of hush puppies the minute you sit down(not so healthy, but very good). Our server was excellent! And while not fast food, we did get our food fast. I had a house salad with boiled shrimp – huge filling salad. Hubby had a fried trio with a side of fried squash. So if you want it fried they do that too. The 13 year old had a generous Caesar salad and blackened Canadian flounder. What’s the difference? Canadian flounder is smaller and tastier. Free dessert on your birthday, key lime pie was his choice. Can’t complain about it! Lots of seating available. Clean and no TVs blaring. Popular with the church crowd on Sunday’s. Prices are reasonable. Lunch for three $ 38. The 50’s era music is its only negative.

My husband and I were in Bermuda Run and spotted Captain’s Galley. We read the other Unilocal reviews and decided to try it. We got a to-go order since we had our dogs with us. WOW! Best damn seafood either of us has had in decades! We got a large 2-item combo with flounder and popcorn shrimp. It came with 2 huge pieces of flounder, fried to perfection and delicious! The popcorn shrimp were tasty and fried very well. Cocktail and tartar sauces were homemade and wonderful! We loved it, and our dogs gave it their seals of approval. :). We live in High Point, and we’ll be back often!

Food was very good seafood. Lots of broiled selections and cold shrimp options which are both my favs. Hushpuppies were really good too! Good service. I recommend!
