Backed by 20 plus years of service from it’s original service location of Northern California, Rescue Training Institute (RTI) of Southern California is dedicated to the same quality of service. RTI is designed to meet the needs of our clients that demand quality, relevant, enjoyable safety training without sending their employees to another location.

Meet the Business Owner

Mark F.

Business Owner

Mark Fonseca owns and operates Rescue Training Institute of Southern California. He has worked 7 years in emergency medical services. In 2004 as an EMT, Mark graduated from the Sierra College Regional Fire Academy then worked as a resident Firefighter for an area fire department. He then relocated to North Hollywood, CA where he worked for American Medical Response.

Transfering to Sacramento AMR Operations in 2007, Mark attended Paramedic school. He graduated from NCTI in Roseville, CA and received his CA State Paramedic License. He then started working as a Paramedic for AMR, an intern– volunteer Paramedic/​Firefighter for the Penn Valley Fire Deptartment. In addition to working as a Paramedic in the field, he was a Primary Instructor for RTI in Northern, CA.

In 2011, having taught courses for 2 years he was given the option and privilege to expand, own and operate RTI in Southern California. In February 2012 RTI Southern California officially opened!
