The food is really good(a bit too salty) but giving 2 stars because of the size of the fish. It’s literally 3 normal bites. I still would love to come back in hopes that you guys read our reviews and improve your spot.

I really enjoy this place and frequent it about once a week on my lunch break. I almost always get the salmon lunch special but am constantly disappointed by the cut of fish I get. It is just about paper thin, which doesn’t even seem to be a natural cut of salmon. Even tail ends are thicker than the pieces I receive every time. Because they are simply fish, as their name states, I would accept to at the very least receive a good cut of fish. I have been

Stopped in here for a quick lunch and am so glad that I did! Place your order in the back and they will bring your order to your table if you are eating in — I did not see the«Order Here» sign as I was too focused on the chalkboard with their menu and was waiting to be seated in the front the first couple of mins I was there. Whoops! I ended up ordering the ahi tuna poke which came with a side of chips. The poke portion was generous and while maybe a tad over dressed I thought it was still good — I ate the whole thing because of how fresh the fish tasted. I will have to stop by here again when I visiting and try their other items — it was hard to decide on what to try! Really a great hidden gem in a shopping complex.

I’m going to agree with another review that you don’t find great little places like this in Agoura very often. The Fish and Chips are always served fresh & hot, numerous other fish selections are always good(tilapia or fish tacos) and wonderful broccoli cole slaw. The friendly service and comfortable décor enhances the eat-in experience.

Love this place, great staff and really really good food. My favorites are the mussels over fries(best Moules Frites I’ve had) and the mahi burger. Fries are excellent, they hold up beautifully in the mussel broth. Please support them and help me them open!

Hey yo! Never thought a place like this would open up in Agoura Hills especially in such an unassuming shopping center. I enjoy the casual dining experience here because there are times I have a craving for salmon or mussels but without having to go to a full sit-down restaurant. So speaking of the Salmon(over a bed of rice) and the mussels(over fries…), I’ve also been able try the fish and chips. For the fish and mussels, all of the items were great. Very fresh tasting and the portions are generous. The batter on the fish wasn’t too thick which allowed the fish to be the focal point. Also can’t forget to mention the clam chowder! I was pleasantly surprised at how many clams were in the soup. The chowder had a good consistency, not too thick and definitely not watery. The only drawback were the soggy fries at the bottom of the pot of mussels. Maybe I’m not on the«ins» with this but it was weird. The Cajun fries were really good though so I strongly suggest having those. It sounds like I ate a lot but our group decided to have our meal family style. We definitely plan to frequent Simply Fish Grill in the future. Decent and fair prices along with generous portions will have us coming back soon!

I am such a picky fish eater and this place is wow. The fish here was extremely fresh and good. I got the lunch special with Salmon and I have been craving it again since I had it. I can’t wait to go back again soon!

This area needed a little seafood spot like this. It’s easy, food is good and the employees are friendly. It’s not fancy by any means, and it does offer a nice alternative to the Lure. I ordered the Mahi Mahi plate, which generously included two sides. I prefer my fish grilled plain and it came just as ordered, tender and delicious. The serving size of the fish was impressive for the price. The grilled zucchini was tasty as well as was my salad. Thank you for the romaine rather than iceberg! My hubby ordered ahi rare with Cajun seasoning it came just as requested with brown rice and coleslaw. There are other items on the menu we are looking forward to sampling. See you again soon.

I have been eating at Simply Fish Grill 3+ times a week since they opened. This place is consistent, delicious, and fairly priced. Cajun seasoning here is awesome, wild salmon, mahi mahi, tilapia, shrimp, all awesome. Haven’t had a bad meal yet. I like the original french fries they served more than the ones they switch to though, less natural more of the frozen variety. I think that should be stepped up to the quality of the rest of the food. The white rice they also changed for a cheaper variety, if they go back to high quality natural sides it would better compliment the healthy high quality entrees. Don’t step over dollars to save pennies. Love this place, hope they keep the quality up.

They have healthy tasty grilled options here! I got the Mahi Mahi Fish with grilled Zuchinni and it was filling and tasty. The lunch prices look really good from 11 – 2:30 pm daily around 8 – 9 bucks and I love that it is 4−6oz fish portion sizes. I was disappointed I couldn’t get a small portion size off the dinner menu– the fish is 7 – 9 ounce — with rice and a side of your picking– from potato salad to grilled veggies and you end up spending $ 12 for most of the healthy options off the dinner menu. I couldn’t finish my big plate of food. You can get the tacos for $ 3.75 chicken and fish variety and I do love that they carry different fish here like Salmon, Cod, Mahi Mahi and other fish. They also have a Salsa bar :)) Really friendly people working here.

Great new lunch or quick dinner option in Agoura! It’s located in a strip mall so don’t expect anything fancy, but it’s fresh, healthy, large portioned, quick, and delicious! You pick your fish, a style(cajun, garlic butter, or simply grilled), brown or white rice, and a side. Simple but tasty! I personally like cajun style, it has has a great spicy kick! I get it with the wild mahi mahi(love that they have a few options of wild fish!), grilled zucchini, and brown rice. You can also get the fish in a burger or in tacos. My husband really likes the mahi mahi burger. it’s stuffed with coleslaw and spread with chipotle aioli, so yum! If I wasn’t trying to do the healthy thing, that would be my pick too. I’ll definitely be back!

Tried their Cod fish & chips the other day and I must say that I wasn’t impressed overall. Very small portions of fries for what you’re paying, and I’ve had better tasting Cod fish than this. Batter isn’t that great either. Could be the oil. As for the potato salad, if you like tiny pieces of skinned potato with a subtle fishy aftertaste, then by all means order a portion. This place is definitely overrated imo. I’d highly suggest trying Lure Fish House nearby instead.

Decided to stop in here after my mom raved about it and am sooo glad I did! I ordered two mahi mahi tacos for $ 6.50(steal!!) and they def didn’t skimp on the fish! There was cabbage, tangerines(loved the citrus and wouldn’t be mad if it had a bit more), sour cream, and cilantro. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese since I’m incapable of not ordering it. It was $ 3.50 and a nice sized serving. It was made with large rigatoni noodles and I would probably share it next time. They serve beer and wine and everyone who works here was so nice! I changed my mind about my order after I paid and the manager changed it without complaint. Can’t wait to come back and try more options! Welcome to A-Town…you can stay! UPDATED6÷3÷2015: I came back for the tacos and decided to try the«Sweet Potato Fries with Blue Cheese Sauce» — skip them! The server simply brought out an order of plain old sweet potato fries… no sauce on them. I asked about the sauce and she brought me blue cheese dressing. This definitely was NOT what I thought it would be so I let the cashier know and they refunded me, but I def would not recommend ordering them… they were a disappointment :(

Mmmm this place is amazingly good! $ 12 for this large tray. Yah… It’s not good to eat this any carbs but I was curious to try their Mac and cheese after already trying their rainbow trout w/skin and their salmon. There was so much sauce, you need a spoon to eat it all! Delicious, fresh, and easy… Plus fast!!! Great for a quick lunch or meal.
