Dr. Terino is not only world renowned for his accomplishments as a cosmetic plastic surgery surgeon, but also as an innovator in the specialized new techniques of three-​dimensional facial contouring. He is one of the few pioneers to develop the latest upper and mid-​face vertical lifting and suspension technology, which he calls «Somme Lift.» He also is the designer of natural looking cheek and chin implants which provide solutions for flat cheeks, small jaw lines, and weak facial contours. Dr. Terino’s approach to each patient is caring and individualized and combines a highly refined eye for aesthetic detail.

«Dr. Edward O. Terino has been practicing here in the Conejo Valley for over 20 years.

A graduate of Amherst College and Yale University, Dr. Terino brings a unique combination of art and surgical technique to his practice.

Dr. Terino worked voluntarily at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital, in Haiti, and also throughout Central and South America, helping impoverished people by performing free surgeries on deformed and maimed children.

From his surgical clinics in Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and Thousand Oaks, Dr. Terino has served both the reconstructive as well as the aesthetic needs of a large area of Southern California, from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Although many of Dr. Terino’s patients are from Ventura County and the Conejo Valley, and even greater number of people seek his work from Beverly Hills and other states and countries.

I was interested in a consultation with Dr. Terino, I have met him before years ago but his staff is terrible. I don’t know the names or I would post them. I called in and the receptionist said I had a lot of questions and got irritated then hung up and called me back then put me on hold until I hung up then called again… all I asked was for a consultation. If an professional office is going to hire people that can’t even answer a phone and make an appointment, but on top of that be rude to potential clients I can’t imagine what having surgery there would be like. No thank you.

Before the doctor would do a procedure they wanted me to sign something saying that I could not post any negative review.
I’m not sure if that is even legal to enforce, but it surely would scare off a lot of people.(I never signed anything, but my Unilocal name is a pseudonym so I can write honest reviews.)
Dr. Terino himself was kind and thoughtful, so it may be an overprotective staff.
Regardless, the policy made me question the integrity of the doctor’s actual Unilocal reviews. ie I’m sure the positive reviews are real, but how can we know how many ‘misses’ he has had.
These days, I won’t be treated by a doctor without checking Unilocal.I don’t expect ‘perfection’ or all 5 star reviews. However, I also don’t expect filtering of negatives based on legal threats. So I found another doctor who did my procedure.

If you want a top surgeon Dr. Edward Terino is the very best in the business. He is honest, precise and adapts to your needs in very creative ways. The end result is what he explains in the pre surgery consultation, so, no surprises. His staff Louise and Lisa are supportive and always available to answer questions, schedule appointments and listen. They actually visited me prior to surgery to wish me luck and show their support. The office is quaint, when you visit, it is like coming home to family. I would highly recommend this amazing doctor.

What an amazing doctor! My wife and I we’re on vacation and she was bitten by her family dog in Japan. She lost 30−40% of her upper lip and some skin above that section. Dr. Edward Terino was by far the most caring reconstructive surgeon we came across. The surgery procedure he recommended was the least invasive surgery, which had good chance of yielding a good result. He recommended we operate right away and gave us a detailed description of why and the medical reasons behind it. As an educated person, I decided to consult with other doctors as well where some recommended we wait until the would heals (3 – 4 months), and other a more invasive procedure that would result in more scaring and double surgeries. After digesting all the information, we decided to go with Doctor Terino. He called me after the surgery to let me know how it went (as good as it could have possibly gone). He called me on Sunday, to check in and see how my wife was doing. No doctors call their patients on their day off and spend time really checking in on how the patient is doing. He is in it for the right reasons and we could not have made a better decision. Lisa and Sandi we’re also very accommodating and supportive and have been with us every step of the way of her recovery and post-​opp care.

Few weeks ago sadly I was bitten by my parents’ dog. Part of my upper lip surface was deeply scraped and missing a chunk. I right away knew This is something I can’t heal and needed help from a plastic surgeon. I almost fainted when I took a peek at my wound…
My husband was looking around to find a trustable reconstructive surgeon to fix my lip and one of our friends recommended us to meet Dr. Terino.
Dr. Terino and his staff (Sandi and Lisa) are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable instantly at my consultation. (doctor took his time to explain me why he recommends his treatment– not like this one doctor we met in Beverly Hills!!!)
We went to meet few amazing doctors in town. Each ones gave us different opinions however we chose Dr. Terino because he suggested the least amount of scarring surgery and treatment.
I went for a surgery about a week ago and have been healing well without any complications so far!
It will be a long recovery, but I’m very confident to say we chose the right doctor to treat me!
Definitely recommend Dr. Terino. I’ve seen few amazing works in implants and even cleft palette on little kids. Also more than anything he really has a big heart!

Dr. Terino is the best, he is knowlegeable and has the experience, I have seen his work and its perfect. I had consulted him for something suspicious on my skin and he is very conservative, professional and friendly. I would trust him with not only myself but also with my children, if they needed stitches on their face or eye I would choose him.
The staff is friendly caring organized and professional. You are always greeted with a smile and a warm friendly feeling.

I just got injections with Dr. Terino and he did a great job. What a perfectionist. It’s been 2 weeks and the outcome is so natural. What a friendly office staff as well. I just wish they were closer to me in Santa Monica but worth the drive.

I recently went to Dr. Terino for the first time because I was wanting to get some injections. I am pretty happy with the results although it didn’t last long. First off, the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Secondly, Dr. Terino has been in this business for years and has extensive knowledge about what I was having done. Most offices only have the nurses do the injections, but Dr. Terino does them himself! Upon arriving, I was taken to the back to take «before» photos (which only good offices require). Then after about an hour wait, Dr. Terino took me back to analyze the photos and discuss what I wanted to have done. He knew exactly where to do the work in order to maximize my results. A couple weeks later, I noticed that I needed a touch up and it was no problem.

I had blepharoplasty in 2001 and have been extremely happy with my results. I found Dr. Terino to be caring, professional and credible. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and results. 13 years later my eyes still look youthful and natural. I have since undergone gastric bypass and would like to get a neck & tummy-​tuck and, when I am ready, I would definitely go back, even though I’ve moved out of the area. I was honored to be included on his website under «procedures» pics. I’m forever grateful to him for the excellent work he did on my droopy tired, baggy eyes. No complications and it was a quick, painless recovery. Bruising was gone within days.

Ok. I have no idea what went wrong with the people who reviewed Dr. Terino before me. I am a physician and trust only select doctors to have a procedure with. Dr. Terino is one of the most experienced, precise, thoughtful doctors I have ever met. His bedside manners are fantastic. He really made feel great before, during and after my procedure. I am looking refreshed and not like I had an invasive procedure done. I would recommend Dr. Terino to anyone who is considering any type of cosmetic procedure or advice. Also, my experience with the staff was above expectation. The nurse or practice manager (Luise) was very informative and spent a lot of extra time with me. Love love love my experience.

I have seen Dr. Terino twice for Botox. He is a caring professional doctor. Yes he likes to chat and if you like to chat then you can possibly be with him a long time. He has great technique. The office is clean and the staff friendly. I think his girlfriend runs the front office and she can be a bit snobby. I would say that he probably loses clients because of her. I would see him every 6 months but his prices are to high. I only go to him if he is having a special.

I waited a long time to get breast augmentation after my second pregnancy. I selected Dr. Terino because he has a very good reputation had I had seen his results with several friends of mine. His recovery times are excellent. I was a size AA and I wanted to fit my clothes better and be comfortable in my skin again. In the two consultation interviews he was very honest about the results I could achieve and he took time to answer all of my questions. The payment process was helpful and made it affordable for me at the time. My surgical experience was excellent. I have a pre-​existing heart condition and he took that into account and was very cautious with my procedure and anesthetic. My post-​op recovery was perfect and I couldn’t be happier with my results! 4 years later, my body looks completely natural and fits my style. I feel like it reflects who I really am. It’s comfortable and I have no attention on it. I would recommend Dr Terino to a friend or loved one and I have many times.

I saw Dr. Terino’s ad on Facebook and was impressed with his work. I contacted him and he asked me to send pictures of myself so he could tell me how he could improve my look. I mentioned to him that I am HIV+ along with the pictures and never heard back from him again. Two weeks later I called his office and the receptionist looked up my email and told me that it is not possible to put implants in an HIV+ person due to complications that can arise. I mentioned that I am undetectable and very healthy but that didn’t make a difference to her. I still didn’t get any response. This is bogus information because I’ve spoken to other plastic surgeons and they told me that as long as I am healthy and undetectable there is no likelihood of any complications. I cannot believe that in this day and age there is discrimination and ignorance from doctors, especially one that has so many certifications and graduated from an Ivy League school such as Yale. I don’t think I would want a doctor that thinks like this to work on me anyway, but I thought I should make others aware of this doctor’s demeanor and let you decide if you want someone with this kind thinking to work on you. The receptionist told me he would get back to me in a couple of days and he never got back to me and its been over 3 days now. At this point I don’t expect to be contacted by him at all.

I have had a number of cosmetic procedures done and some were with the «top» Beverly Hil Surgeons but my best results and most lasting impressions were and are with Dr. Terino and his very capable and caring staff.
