Aloha Ship and Pack

Fast and friendly people. I had to pack my huge hello kitty doll made out of fiberglass. Whoever pack it did a great job if I live in Hawaii I would tell my friends and family to please support local business like this. Very happy that someone is there to pack instead of me doing myself.

Went here saturday around 2pm for a last minute shipping of my passport renewal. USPS around the area were all closed and im not about to go to mililani or honolulu. They have fedex, ups, usps shipping services available to choose from. The lady, seems like shes the owner, was very helpful and polite. She helped my with my littlest needs. The store was not too big but every customer that would go in there were in and out in less than 5 mins, they attend to everyone in a timely manner. Would definitely go back there again for easy, breezy shipping!

I’ve been coming to this place for years. This is my «Go To» place to drop off UPS pick ups and send general USPS parcel items. I stopped going to the Aiea Post Office. I visit often because I do almost all my on-​line shopping at Amazon and I return items regularly. The staff have been pleasant and helpful. I was there this morning and they suggested I go with a smaller box to get 1^st class and a cheaper shipping rate. She opened my original shipping box, transferred everything for me. Labels, return address etc… She went above and beyond. You don’t experience this kind of excellent customer service much anymore. I appreciate your efforts!!!

This cute little ships-​packages-​plus-​a-​whole-​lot-​more shop is located to the right of Diner’s in Aiea in the shopping center where Safeway, City Mill, and Starbuck’s are located. There’s lots of parking in the area fronting City Mill and Safeway.
I’m here to ship a package back to the mainland. The package already has a label. It should be a one second kind of drop off.

I am still in amazement.
If you want to know the deets, here’s the long:
Last time I attempted to do a one second drop off at the Kalihi Office Depot, it turned into a long, 30 minute process. To be fair, it didn’t help that I needed a spot of tape but alas, I digress.
At the time I posted my review for that 30 minute drop off experience then realized Kathy A. had posted hers about this place. I vowed to come here next time I needed to drop something off.
So glad I did; here’s how easy it went:
1) I walked in to ask about dropping off my pre-​labeled package,
2) the man who took my package asked if I took a photo of the label,
3) I took a photo of the label on my pkg,
4) gave him back my package,
5) He smiles gently and says that the UPS person will be by soon.
After that, it took me longer to acclimate.
— Another second for me to be in disbelief.
— A few seconds to give a laugh of relief.
— And a few more to be sure it was that easy.
— That one second drop off is so awesome that I immediately fall in love with this place.
Next, I look around. There are helpful displays and signs both inside and outside the shop for envelope and box mailing supplies, key cutting, color copies, mail box rental, faxing (see photos).
All in all maybe even coulda been out in 30 seconds flat had I not taken photos of the services this business offers so that other peeps could know what’s offered here.

I may never go to the Post Office again! There is a little gem of a business tucked into Waimalu Shopping Center that does it all! Not only do they ship via USPS, UPS and Fed Ex they pack it for you.
I have to be the lamest person in the world when it comes to wrapping and packing so when I saw this shop I screamed SCORE, luckily in my head so I didn’t scare any unsuspecting bystanders. I stepped into the business and marveled at the size… tiny but packed with everything you might need in the way of going postal. PO boxes are available as is Notary Services.
I walked in yesterday with a bag of treasured swap meet shirts to send to my nephew in California. I shuddered to think it would cost me more to send them than I paid for them. Being the dutiful aunt that I am when he asked for them I sent my grandson off with money to pick them up on Wednesday at the Stadium. In I walk to ASAP and told the really nice lady behind the counter they were not for Christmas so if a day or two late I’m okay. She handed me a label to fill out including a pen so I didn’t even have to dig through my bag. I filled out the label while she compressed the shirts into the smallest USPS priority «if it fits» box, taped it closed and pressed on the label I just finished.
I was impressed because if I picked the box it would have been twice the size and far more expensive. I didn’t buy tape, didn’t stand in line for 30 minutes and didn’t fight for parking. These people meet my needs and the best part… there are restaurants, City Mill and Safeway in the same center. One stop does it all, yes I’m a fan!

I went there for a notary service. He wasn’t too friendly but thumbs up for his work. Fast and efficient !

This is my go to place for all my UPS needs. Never a line, fast service!

It’s never fun going to the post office. So I thought I cheat and beat the crowd by stopping by Aloha Ship and Pack (ASAP). I was correct about it being empty, so straight to the front counter. Then it all begins…
The older lady working look up at me (she was taping a box) and didn’t smile or greet me. So I had to engage her by saying hello, of which she then presumed I was only there to drop off a pre-​paid package. I informed her that I need to pay to ship my package (a return to an online company). She put my package on their scale (of which you can’t see the actual weight) and said it was 4 pounds… Even? With no ounces?
She then instructed me that it will cost me $ 25.70! The look I must’ve had on my face. I was baffled and mentioned that the company spent $ 18 sending it to me, and she said they probably got a commercial rate… But I didn’t want to fight and went ahead and paid it. I have to say I was stupid :(
I didn’t look at my receipt until I got home and notice it had no details about the transaction, unlike the post office. I hate that! There’s no proof of the service I just purchased!!! So I called her up and confirmed it was sent priority, and that I should’ve been given a tracking number. Again, it was just as frustrating over the phone. She had to repeat the tracking number 3 – 4 times.
In the end, I went to the USPS website to get an estimate cost to mail, and entered the zip codes, weight, dimensions, etc… It came out to $ 18… Go figure.
Do yourself the favor and go to the USPS directly (the professionals) and not get charged ridiculous amount of $$$.

I truly enjoyed using this center to ship and receive items. Its in the perfect location so I never hated going to get mail because I knew that after getting mail I could look forward to eating next door and shopping across the parking lot or eating ice cream across the street. The personnel were very personable, amiable and knowledgeable. They knew me by name and asked me how things were. They woud, if I had chosen an expensive shipping option, offer cheaper alternatives. After getting back from deployment they didn’t hassle me about the bills. Price was affordable. So all in all a great service across the board! Highly recommend this spot!
