Dr. Horie is kind, fun and is the best dentist we have ever had. He pays careful attention to detail and remembers people and their teeth. His office staff is also kind and attentive. We’ve needed immediate care as well as regular care and he and his staff have always accommodated us immediately. Do not hesitate to make Dr. Horie your new dentist! We first went to Dr. Horie with our teens and our two year old. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist, this is your Dr. He is great with all ages but particularly good with our youngest. Because he cares, all of us felt immediately at ease. After three years our love for Dr. Horie only grew. Thank you, Dr. Horie!!!

I’ve been coming here since 2000. Wow 13 years! Where did the time go? They truly do treat you like family here and I love that Dr Dean ALWAYS remembers the last conversation we had 6 months prior. I swear he keeps a cheat sheet behind the dentistry chair to remember all the details from the last time I saw him.
Everytime I leave I feel like the lady in the orbitz commercial with that «ting» sparkle in my smile. I always get a thank you toothbrush upon departure. It’s like going to the dentist when you were little and you got a little toy. As an adult, a free toothbrush rocks!
I remember one trip I took to Vegas. I was sitting next to an older couple and we were talking about where we live in Hawaii. As I explained where I lived, they said their son is a dentist there. Lo and behold, it was Dr Deans Mom and Dad. How awesome was that?! Again, like family.
Not just Dr. Dean, but the entire staff, is absolutely wonderful. So friendly and really do make you feel at home.
Tip: Bring a jacket. Maybe its just me, but I always get cold once I’m «THE CHAIR». Or maybe its nerves? :)
One more Tip: Beware of the parking attendant. I got a ticket because my son dropped me off, parked the van, and then went across the street to look at something and came back. The attendant then gave me a ticket for parking illegally in their lot. I went and gave her the ticket back while shaking my free toothbrush at her.

Dr Horie and his staff are excellent; friendly, personable and social but yet always very professional. They make you feel very comfortable and get to know you personally, so it’s like you’re visiting friends instead of your dentist.
The office is clean and well kept, and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Appointments are needed and you will need to book well in advance as they are very busy. I visit them twice a year for my checkups (every 6 months), and at the end of my visit, always schedule my next appointment before I leave. That way, I am guaranteed to have my next appointment! Appointments are very punctual and on time, so you can rest assured that the wait time in the reception area will be minimal, if any at all.
Dr Horie and his staff are also wonderful with kids. They know how to make them feel comfortable and his method of dentistry is gentle yet effective. The kids love visiting and are not afraid or intimidated at all! Very highly recommended!!!

Dr Horie’s staff is amazing! His receptionist has a knack for remembering people that I find refreshing in a small business. I was off-​island for a couple of years and when I walked through the door again she asked me when I would like to schedule appointments for my family and myself.
My family has always received the best of care here. It is clean, tidy, and amazingly prompt. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes when arriving for my appointments.

Silly to write a review for a dentistry office, but I really like this place! I recommend it to all my friends. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the office is clean and comfortable, and Dr. Horie is a great dentist. They don’t keep you waiting around, they get you in and out as fast as possible, and it’s virtually pain free! I’ve had two wisdoms removed here… didn’t even realize the first one was pulled.
