Kara’s niche in helping small businesses blossomed after leaving the employment sector. Kara was approached by several business owners who knew of her reputation as a knowledgeable and certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, as well as her strong accounting background. During the year, she enjoyed success as a consultant (founding First Choice Accounting) and was gratified to help businesses in establishing, updating, and managing their accounting functions and software.

Kara Mojica is not your typical accountant or small business owner. Kara loves to collaborate with business owners in taking their companies to new heights of profitability, accuracy, and efficiency. With a Bachelor Degree from Hawaii Pacific University including 20 years experience doing what she does best, her professional skills and services are quite extensive. They include full-​charge bookkeeping, financial management, QuickBooks consulting, and director of start-​up and corporate operations. With an uncanny ability to accomplish challenging tasks of great variety and responsibility, she can do this while at the same time coordinate several complex projects simultaneously.
