Been with this credit union for almost 20 years. Although the tellers have changed over the years, it’s still a friendly branch. The tellers continuously greet customers as they enter and also when they leave. Many customers are known by the amount of snacks that are left as they leave. This location is a good place for me since its on my way home. I don’t have to go out of my way. The bank machines are linked to Bank of Hawaii making it very accessible to the mullah I do have. Also they have an app which makes it extremely easy for me.

I know just about all the tellers and they are mostly very friendly. Parking here is pretty good but maybe not around lunch time. They also have a coin changer that puts the amount right into your savings.

It was my first visit to this branch and I left with a great impression. I needed to do a transfer between two participating credit unions, and like most, used my lunch hour to get it done. Not only was the teller very friendly and helpful, but she also ran the transaction quick and smoothly. And parking wasn’t an issue either, although I’d imagine that it can get a little crowded being a smaller shopping complex. If you have a participating credit union and are in the area, I’d highly recommend using Hawaii State Federal Credit Union. I’m glad I found a short stop from work to do my banking at!

I’ve been apart of this bank for about 2 years and I love it! They have the best service here. I’ve had other accounts at other banks and none has been able to beat this location out. Fast friendly they are so willing to help with anything you need!!! Bottom line you should take all your banking needs here

Everytime I need something done, if it’s loans to new accounts I always come to this location on Saturdays. Never too busy and Cheryl has helped me the last two times I was here. She helped me understand what I needed to do to refinance my car loan and helped me to get a new account number because of possible fraud on my account. The tellers are also great and in a corner where you can always find parking.
The plus side of this location is that it’s open on Saturday! I which is convenient for me because I have no time on the weekdays.
There’s no one at the front desk like the main branch, just a sign in sheet. But that doesn’t make a difference. Just sign in.
Love this location, lots of staff to help you out and get to you quickly. I love this location, I feel comfortable coming in.

I was hesitate in opening another account, but a coworker of mines pushed me to. Now, I can say I love this bank, but there isn’t one near to me. However, I really like them. When you walk through the door everyone greets you with a Good morning or Good afternoon. Usually there is no line, but at the most so far I experienced maybe only 2 – 3 people ahead of me, but they are fast. A plus is not having to write out a deposit or withdrawal slip. You simply tell them your member #. Really fast and friendly staff. You walk out with a «Bye, have a nice day» or «Bye see you again» and of course with a big smile on your face.

Direct deposits gets deposited the same-​day unlike the other bank where I have to literally wait a day to take out/​transfer money. The only con about this particular bank is the limited locations and hours. The Pearlridge location is pretty awesome with their hours but I don’t want to drive all the way there to do business. They are great though when I do end up on that side.

Very clean. Weird flow to the lobby, the sign in podium is at the door which has a sign indicating the member to wait in the lobby however the lobby is not in plain view, there are two offices cubicles obscuring it. The service we requesting was, Notary. The member service specialist that helped us did not smile, she thanked us after wards but was not genuinely appreciative. My husband and I felt under minded. She also did not offer any products or services.

I love this location.
Located right across from Pearl Ridge across of Anna Miller, this location has an outside ATM and good parking on business days. I’ve been to this location more than a dozen times and every time I’ve been there the tellers are always nice, regardless if it’s morning or 10 minutes before closing.
A great benefit of Hawai’i State Federual Credit Union (HSFCU) is free online banking, and free online banking by phone.
While its true there aren’t as many HSFCU bank locations as compared to Bank of Hawai’i (BOH) and First Hawaiian Bank (FHB), you can withdraw crash from any BOH ATM as long as it’s under a certain number of transactions (I forget the number). As a side fact, BOH ATMs are everywhere. Costco, Long’s, McDonalds, so the absent of a bank location isn’t an issue. Just sign up for direct deposit if your employer offers it.
One last great benefit is the value. HSFCU always has running promotions. Refer a family member or friend who opens an account and you get $ 50.00. In addition, your referral will get $ 10.00 for themselves. HSFCU also has drawings for trips to Las Vegas and a new laptop. I remember a while back HSFCU also had another special for Christmas. Spend $ 500.00 and get a check for $ 25.00.
At the end of the day, you just can’t beat customer service.

It’s a bank, what else do you need to go here for besides monetary transactions and notary? They have been friendly and I love the fact that they close about about 5 on Saturdays when most banks are closed by 2p.

I like the credit union for what it is. Also, i love that I get free online banking service Whereas BOH charges you for that type of service. However, I do not love the fact that there is ALWAYS a line. A slow as a turtle line. Went to make a deposit at 10am and there was still a line, perhaps it’s the lack of open tellers that have that are available. But again, I do like the credit union, just don’t like having to go to this location to make deposits, would rather do shared banking and go to Pearl Harbor Credit Union near my office.

I have been a member for about 15+ years and always enjoyed banking at Hawaii State Federal Credit Union.
I visited this location because it has a coin star coin machine. No need to count coins and pack them in the rolls. No need to separate by coin amount, just drop it in and the machine does it ALL! Out comes a receipt take it to the teller and they will either give you cash for it or deposit it in to your account. The best thing is that if you are a HSFCU member there is no charge to use this machine.
Now they just need to get one in the Kaneohe location.

Seriously there is only one teller at 3:00pm! It’s not like we have all the time in the world especially when it is rush hour… The only reason why I bank with them is because of their good interest rates.
I don’t get how they don’t have deposit slips and all that. It just doesn’t make sense to me. someone please explain to me why, I assume it would be easier and efficient. but hey everyone likes the complicated way, i’m just saying!
The hours are good Monday-​Friday 9−6pm and Saturday 9−5pm… they use to be open on sundays but they changed it.
