Meet the Manager

Jim E.

Manager

Jim first started in the HVAC industry in 1969. He was hired on as a shop helper at C.R. Kurtz Heating in Canal Fulton, OH. He and a few friends were hired to help out temporarily and he never left the industry.

The schooling/training never stops. It’s a continuous process to stay on top of all of the industry changes. Jim attends hours upon hours of schooling each year in order to maintain his state license. Jim got his apprenticeship from Sheet Metal Local 70 many years ago and has worked his way up from an installer, to a service technician, and now the president of Echols Heating & Air Conditioning.

«One of the most interesting aspects of the job is that there is something different every day.» Jim said. «You can never be sure what the day will have in store for you.»
