Jackie is a wonderful addition to the Main Street businesses. Prices and sales are top notch. The furniture store has a unique selection. She paints and restores a lot of the furniture and adds some flair. The clothing is carefully selected and well priced.

I absolutely LOVE their furniture store. (I can only comment on that, seeing as I never stepped foot into the clothing building) When moving into my first apartment, I had pretty much nothing except my bed. I did a google search, as well as some digging on Facebook and found Second’s Best! I flicked through some pictures on her Facebook page and a few items caught my interest so I decided to go for a drive. If you are not familiar with the area or just look up the address and it says Main St. I can save you some searching time by telling you it is literally on the corner of Main and Buffalo. There is a nice parking lot on the side of the store instead of parking on the Main St. Much easier to move furniture! Upon entering, there is a WIDE variety of cool and interesting furniture there. I always manage to find something… which I guess is good, lol… but terrible because I LOVE«different» items and this place is full of them. I find things I want but not necessarily need. Anyway, I found a great antique table that came with four chairs at a reasonable price, as well as an end table, key box, wooden DVD stand, some pictures and recently… a sweet wine cabinet! They also have 30 day layaway. An amazing thing for me seeing as I am just starting out and can’t go broke buying furniture for my place. The lady that runs/owns the store is super nice and has remembered from sporadic visits. She really has an eye for arranging and decorating the place, as well as breathing life back into worn pieces. Highly recommend and will be visiting again in the next week or two… to pick up my end table!

The furniture portion is definitely worth scoping out. They have a lot of really interesting furniture. My cousin got a queen bed frame and dresser for her son’s new apartment for $ 228 total. The one thing to keep in mind though is that they require you to carry out your own items. The access in/out is odd since there are stairs or a loading garage that opens. Either way seems totally unsafe to carry out furniture. We were lucky that a nice guy there carried and loaded the dresser in my cousin’s SUV. Always helpful to have a strong helpful man around in this case. Ha! The furniture building and clothing building are separate. While the furniture building was interesting, the clothing selections were… Old. Everything looked VERY used. The plus size clothes here are mostly limited to old lady clothes. Yuck. It may be worth a gander if you have babies or kids, but the adult stuff is quite shabby. 4 stars for the furniture building, 2 for the clothing consignment = 3 average.
