Established in 2006.

Started in Howland, Ohio, Sunshine’s Cleaning Service has been helping individuals, families and businesses since 2006. In 2013 owner/​operator Amy May relocated to Akron, Ohio.

I have a few expectations when I hire a cleaning service:
1. Professional — Amy shows up, equipped, and ready to roll. Every task I needed was met with microscopic efficiency and detail. Clothes, neatly folded. Vacuuming, every inch. Bathroom, could probably eat a meal off the floor. In other words, it’s not a job. It’s her name, a work ethic. She takes it seriously.
2. Prompt — she shows up on time. No «hey I’m running 40 minutes late» texts at the time she’s supposed to be there.
3. Reasonably Priced — I hate cleaning. It takes me 5 hours to do what she does in 2. I would gladly skip a night out and come home to a completely clean apartment/​house instead. The value in not having those tasks, being able to do other things is immeasurable.
4. Honest — the change underneath the cushions on the couch is in a neat little pile for me when I get home. She’s got a good heart and an honest disposition. She has the keys to my place. I’m married with two young children and I trust her implicitly.
She runs a tight ship and makes my life much easier. If you need a cleaning service, don’t hesitate.
