Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed the good Dr. Heller before. I’ve been a fan of his great personality and excellent Chiropractic body work for several years. Can definitely help you with his insightful and well directed adjustments. Office visits for as little as $ 30. Very enthusiastic two [well adjusted] thumbs up! And, if you’re like me, you’ll also enjoy the ambiance of his time capsule office that looks like it hasn’t been updated since the early 1980’s.

I have nothing but good things to say about Doctor Heller! My back has been bad my whole life. Dr. Heller has helped me so much. I would not hesitate to suggest to anyone with problems to see Dr. Heller and take his advice and treatment!

I have had neck and shoulder issues for quite some time, and after coming in to see Dr. Heller for over a year now, I’ve noticed great improvement. After having gone to a few chiropractors in the past, I have to say my experience at Alameda Chiropractic Center has been the best by far. Dr. Heller is a great guy and he takes very good care of his patients!

Great work. I came in there not being able to move my neck from a «workout went wrong». They squeezed me in because I was in so much pain. Next day, the pain was almost all gone. Great guy and great job.

I don’t trust anyone with my back or neck problems but Dr Heller. I have been seeing him for many years as needed and am always able to find relief with a minimum number of visits and therapy. He and his support staff are warm, through, kind and relatable. I highly recommend him for any chiropractic needs you may have!!!

Dr. Steven Heller is one of the most capable and compassionate chiropractors working in the East Bay. If you live outside of Alameda, he’s worth the travel time to the island. Dr. Heller always finds room in his schedule when you are in need of an adjustment, and in general he and his office staff are very accommodating.
I have seen many chiropractors over the years for a problem back and neck, and I can say without reservation that Dr. Heller is the BEST. He also has a big heart to go with his capable hands. His adjustments are gentle and he will use electric stim when needed. He takes the necessary time with you to develop a comprehensive plan to get you pain free and back to full activity. Although he has been in practice for many years, he stays current with any advances and changes in service delivery models.
Additionally, he has referrals for body work, massage, and other services to speed your recovery. Every referral has been affordable and excellent.
The location of the office is great… parking easy, and if you have time after your appointment, there are a lot of great places to eat or grab a coffee along Santa Clara or Park St.

I found Dr. Heller through my Kaiser provider directory. I have had sciatica issues for 15 years. During the last 3 months the pains were increasing so I decided to see a Chiropractor. He has been so good to me. I was not able to go for long walks or carry anything because it would put pressure on my lower back, I am getting better and was able to go to Costco all by myself! Katie his secretary is a doll, super sweet. We know how hard it is to find good customer service. Now everyone from my office is going to see him. Oh yes, I forgot to mention: He is funny!

Dr. Heller took very good care of me. Didn’t rush and took the time to listen and do a through exam. I was a little freaked out before the adjustment as I’ve never had one before, but it was gentler and more comfortable than I thought it’d be and he didn’t pressure me into a bunch more visits. Friendly office and reasonably priced.

Went to Steven a while back. He cracked my neck so hard I had numbness and pain going into my fingers (it wasn’t there before) I went back told him I was having carpel tunnel like symptoms. Like a wise ass he asked do you know what that is? After months of agony, I had an MRI — he rupture 2 discs in my neck. This man should not be allowed to touch anyone. If you want a gentle and caring chirpractor call Kendra Holloway on Santa Clara. He is a lawsuit waiting to happen, I just did not want anything else to do with this a%^

I knew I’d found the right Chiropractor years ago when I first went to Dr. Heller (recommended by a friend of mine) and his business cards said something like ‘everyone needs a good jerk’. Can’t now remember it exactly, but it was very funny. And it turns out, Dr. Heller is very good, and also has a great sense of humor, so my visits are always fun. I’ve gone to Chiropractors for over 20 years now due to a reverse curve in my neck and a ton of stress that I carry in my upper back and shoulders. Dr. Heller was the 5^th or 6^th Chiropractor I found my way to 10 years ago and after my first few visits, I knew my hunt for a great Chiropractor had ended. I go every few months to maintain a great feeling upper back and neck. Anytime some new pain crops up, Dr. Heller takes the time to talk with me and figure out what it is. I can’t say enough good things about him. He is absolutely the best!

I’ve been a loyal patient of Dr. Heller’s for about 10 years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is the ONLY chiropractor I will see.
I’ve had horse-​riding injuries and numerous rear-​ending car accidents. It doesn’t matter if I need a quick tune-​up or intensive care; Dr. Heller is a life-​saver. I’ve been to other chiropractors in the area, and they all were vaguely quack-​like (trying to sell me supplements, get extra x-​rays, claiming to be able to help with digestion problems, etc.). What I love about Dr. Heller is that he is down-​to-​earth, no-​nonsense, get-​the-​job-​done. All I want is for my back and neck to feel better. I don’t want to be in there for three hours, I don’t want the doctor pushing me for more and more care when even *I* can tell that I’m pretty much good to go.
Here’s what he does: solid chiropractic care, quick and caring service, with reasonable prices and a great attitude. He doesn’t try to keep me coming back longer than I need, and I have never felt pushed into any sort of treatment. He is so real, friendly, and kind-​hearted that I feel totally safe and taken care of.
Everyone is very friendly there and even though I live in Oakland now, I will still come back to Dr. Heller, because he is AWESOME!

The décor is pretty 80’s, but in all other ways Alameda Chiropractic exceeds expectations. Personal touches, comfortable waiting room, friendly staff. Dr. Heller took the time to explain my problem to me and his treatment was gentle but effective. I feel great. Very affordable, quality treatment.
