After giving birth to my two kids, my core strength and pelvis alignment were shot. I was on a cane for a few months and I had finally decided to see a chiropractor. My first meeting with Sophie was great! She listens to your needs and really cares about you getting better. Not only did you work on me and made me feel better, she also explained to me what I can do at home to keep improving. She also showed me exercises to improve my core strength. I trust her 100% and have continued to see her for over a year.

I am posting this new review because I have not had any billing issues since the last review in 2011– and I am over being pissed about it. It went on for almost 2 years but that was a while back. I will make sure to always pay with a check so my payment can be proved. The last time I got a treatment there i had dislocated my ribs and Sophie fixed me up quickly and professionally. She got me in right away and fixed me in one session. I thought it was about time I posted a 5 star review for that visit.

Finally a place that takes the time to listen to its patients, the time to understand them, the time to treat them (if needed only!), and the time to follow up to make sure everything is fine.
I know I am saying finally like if I just discovered this place, but this is not the case. I have been to this place for a while now, and it started by my neck. I used to live in Berkeley, and one morning I woke up and could not move. My insurance at the time was kaiser and they sent me there (Thanks Kaiser for once: P). I just went and Dr Blanchard took care of me after asking me a set of questions and making me more relax. the result: I walked out like if nothing had happened.
Later on, I injured my triceps playing Water polo. I thought I would never play again but after working closely with Dr Sophie Blanchard and with Jamie Tokubo, everything went well. I can now play again normally and even better as the exercises made me stronger and more balanced.
Thanks to Sophie and Jamie, I am now able to keep practicing my favorite sport.
And as I said, in this center, they take the time to listen to you, to make you feel comfortable and to understand your problems before treating them. They don’t rush you and this is something I really appreciate and that makes this place unique.

Sophie Blanchard is an amazing healer. She listens, thinks out-​of-​the-​box, and works collaboratively with others in Western and Eastern practices to arrive at a treatment that is customized for her patient’s personal comfort level. She is a breath of sunshine and Sophie loves what she does — it’s contagious and important for those she is healing.
