I am so happy that my friend recommend Jenny to me. She is so sweet and gives a great mani/​pedi I love the massage (almost fell asleep). Everyone that works at Harbor Bay Hair and Nails is super welcoming, friendly and seems happy. Thank you to Vicky and Jenny for staying late for my daughter and me on a Saturday. Please note this is the salon by the UPS store do not confuse with others in the area. This is the place to go!!!

Efficient, clean and professional! I have found my new pedi spot! Peaceful, relaxing and there was no idle chatter (laughter) regarding the dilapidated shape that my poor feet were in.

I love this place so much that I drive here from San Francisco every month for a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. Here’s why…
Appointments — I like that I can text Vicky, one of the owners, to make an appt. They’re always waiting for me when I arrive,
Clean — The nail techs wear gloves and put disposable plastic liners in every tub. Tools are steri– sealed so you know they were used just once.
Friendly — I was remembered on my 2^nd visit and made to feel like part of the family. I also like that the techs don’t chatter amongst themselves making me think they’re discussing my ugly toes.
Very thorough — I have ugly troll feet and they do an unbelievable job clipping my hooves to make them pretty. My one big toe is prone to hangnails but she does such a great job digging around it that I’ve never had a problem.
Massage — One of the techs gives an amazing reflexology massage as part of my pedi. Sooooo nice!

I was so happy when my nail stylist Jenny moved to this wonderful salon! The site is beautiful and relaxing, The owner is friendly and welcoming. Every instrument is spotless and safe. I would have followed Jenny anywhere because she is that good but this is a lovely salon to follow her too.

I came here due to the good reviews to get a manicure, gel color and pedicure and I wasn’t disappointed. Vicki and Hannah were very sweet, gentle and left my toes and hands looking perfect. They gave me a really long foot and hand massage that made me feel relaxed and it was included in the price. Everything cost me $ 48 which I thought was wonderful due to the attention and great quality work. I wasn’t rushed and best part… Every tool was sanitized and they opened pouches to start my visit. The soaking feet tub had a new bag and it was changed with every client that I saw. Ladies wore gloves and the salon was so clean. Definitely will be returning.

This is a review for Jenny and Anna. My first time at Harbor Bay, I was really nervous because I usually do not like having my nails done. But I think I’ve found my go to spot! Jenny is really sweet and nice and they always put a plastic wrap over the pedicure tub so you’re not soaking your feet in a tub someone else has used already.
The first time I was there, I was in a rush to go to the airport and Jenny did my nails in a beautiful sparkly white and blue glitter changing color nail polish. It would change blue when it was cold and white with gold sparkles when it was warm. She really took her time to cut off all of my cuticles and to make sure that the nail polish would not lift. Four weeks later, none of the gel had lifted up and it was still as beautiful as the first day despite growing out.
Second time, I was trying to make an appointment for myself and a friend and found out Jenny doesn’t work Saturdays so i made a last minute appointment after work on Thursday and they were able to accommodate me.
Jenny did a wonderful job the second time too and was super polite. She’s a sweetheart and very careful on how she does your nails.
Price for the gel polish change and regular pedicure was $ 53. Well worth the price for the amount of attention and friendliness the staff gives. And I love that they keep the place super clean!
I would definitely recommend this place to other people!
I was watching their hair technicians and I think the next time I go I may try their balayage ombré!

This salon is a hidden gem in Alameda. I went to get a pedicure on Sunday and am a big fan. The lady whom gave me a pedicure spent at least 20 minutes on my pedicure which also included the best foot massage with no extra charge.

Hands down the best nail place I’ve ever been to!
I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah and Jenny who pampered me with a gel manicure and a pedicure. Although I love the results, I’m also all about customer service and cleanliness. This salon had both! I appreciated how they put a plastic overwrap over the pedicure tub and change it after each use. Other places I’ve been to have never done that! They were also very gentle with my pedicure since I have sensitive skin. I’m definitely coming back!
**And how can I forget the gorgeous view? I’m a sucker for any views of the water.

Do not get confused Harbor Bay Hair & Nail Salon with Bay Farm Nail Salon. These two are completely different business owners.
Harbor Bay Hair & Nail Salon is clean and the nail tech Jenny is very professional and friendly. This was first time checking them out and I was very happy with my pedicure and eyebrow wax. You will not be disappointed with their services.

Been here a couple of times. Each time with really good service. The girls that does my pedicure are pretty good, for me to say that. I’m a picky person and have lots of cuticles on my toes. So I usually like to to clean it up. It’s my go to place when I’m in Alameda. I live in Hayward. The owner Viki I really nice, usually an get in for an appointment. Going back here this Sunday to get my hair perm. Will post update.

Found this place on Groupon and I’m so glad I did!!! And they’re across the street from where I am currently living. They are quick and good at what they offer.
Vicky is the one that cuts my hair and does a marvelous job heeding to my picky requests hehe. She’s friendly, likes to make communication, and just after my first visit she remembered most of my personal information along with how I like my hair. The shampooing and washing of my hair is very convient since I can go in at any given time and continue with my day, not having to go wash up all the hairs. My favorite part is the shoulder rub of course tho it feels a little rushed.
I have gone here 3 times and only once dissapointed. I went in and a girl started attending my hair and before long it was atrocious. I was asking her to fix it as calm as possible but I couldn’t understand her English! I worked and went to school with foreign students and can understand almost all accents because we were close friends and I picked up on understanding them. But I couldn’t understand this girl for the life of me and my haircut kept getting worse. Finally she went to go get Vicky and she was able to semi fix my hair. What I like about Vicky is that she pays attention to the small details in cutting and the final touches which sets her apart. I’m very gracious for her work and will defiantly get a cut if I live here again. Leave Vicky a generous tip!

This is my go to place for hair. I’ve been a customer of Vicky’s for a while and she always does a wonderful job. My wife also likes going here for her nails. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Got my nails done by Vicky. A gel mani for $ 30 with design. She was meticulous and did a great job. Happy to find a great nail salon near by. Everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.

Found a groupon for $ 35 gel mani and pedi. Location is very nice, sits right on the water on the side of Safeway. Looks as though there are different stylist and everyone is on their own and has their own clients. Vicky and her helper does the mani/​pedi part. Her equipment’s are kept nice and clean. Vicky painted my daughter’s nails and it actually last for a couple of days before it started to chip. Vicky gave me a gel mani and you can tell she’s good at what she does. Her helper on the other hand was ok, she gave me my pedicure. I think she could of did a better job at cleaning, every toe should count. If I do go back, I would request Vicky for my pedi. Overall it was worth $ 35.

I highly recommend for you to come and get your hair service your nail service and works here. I have been a loyal customer to Vicki for about 9 years and I plan to keep her as the main person that will service me and my hair and my nails for as long as I can. Their customer service skills are so awesome that I haven’t received that type of service in a long time the place is super clean and well maintained you should check it out and come by and give them a try and you definitely will like it forget the competition forget about their clothes and who has cheaper or more expensive prices come see Vicki and Tina and you will never change hair stylist again

Vicki is super nice and she has talent to do hair and nails. She is beautiful and also kind yet she knows what customers need and takes good care of and works what needed to be done.
I meet nice people here and there but don’t have talent or people with talent but not nice so it was not too pleasant to go to shop for hair or nail done. But since I met Vicki it is real fun and pleasure to go.
More good thing is you can do your hair and nail at the same place and same time.
And her assistance Tina is very kind person too.
She is very diligent and nice.
I recommend you to come this place.
Trust me I went tons of other nail salons here and there I don’t need to look for other place any more. You either.

Had gel nails and a pedicure from Vicki and Tina today. Their service is excellent, very professional and they are super sweet. Vicki always gets me in for an appointment even last minute. This is definitely my new go to nail salon in Alameda

Went here today for waxing services and Vicki was great. She did a great job and also wiped everything off thoroughly, used a warm towel, and soothed my skin with some gel/​cream in the end. My mom used to get discount here so I went but was told it’s for more than one service now.
