Business Owner

Patricia A. Scott received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she was member of the McAuliffe Honor Society and received the American Jurisprudence Awards in Wills and Trusts, Corporations, Evidence and Family Law. She is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California State Bar, has a Certification in Grief Counseling from the Grief Recovery Institute of Los Angeles, is a past member of the San Francisco Aids Legal Referral Panel, and has over fifteen years of experience planning and administering estates in California. Her practice focuses on estate planning and administration, including probate, trust administration, and trust and probate litigation. She assists clients to pass on not only what they own, but what they want their loved ones to know, through the use of ethical wills. The use of ethical wills, or legacy expressions, has been shown to greatly reduce confusion and conflict.
