I can only speak to the nail trim service, but I give them an A+ for that. I have a big, goofy, harmless but terrified boy who has been rejected by other groomers. I can’t even come close to trimming his nails myself. But, these guys had him all trimmed up in less than 10 minutes. Yay!

I bring my dog here to have his nails clipped and have been really with how well they do his nails… have tried many other places, they are the best. Today I took him in to have his anal glands squeezed, they noticed a problem right away and recommended I see his vet. They were spot on and I appreciate them so much!

This was my first time bringing my dog (Buddy) here to get groom and the LAST time. Don’t get me wrong, the staff there were very nice and helpful. 2 Star for the nice staff. This review is for my dog’s groomer (Not mentioning any names). I was asked how I wanted my dog groomed and asked if I had a picture of how I wanted his haircut. Showed the nice lady a picture of it and also sent an email that way they have it on file. (She was not the groomer, FYI). Received a phone call around 11:15 am letting me know that he was ready for pick up. I was really excited to see him but once he walked through that door, I was not a happy camper. Although it seemed like I was happy with what I was looking at, I was not happy at all. His haircut was HORRIBLE and I can’t believe I paid that much for the haircut I got. It looked like something I can do at home. It looks nowhere near the picture I sent them. It looked CHOPPY! Looked like the groomer took some scissors and just started cutting. A LOT of uneven spots… Especially the head part. I mean A LOT!!! My dog looks HORRIBLE. I could’ve done this myself for FREE! This is what I get for trying a new groomer. Will definitely be going back to his old groomer at PAWS & CLAWS.

Been taking our pooch here for haircuts for the past 9 months and we love coming here even though we live in SF. Yes, that’s right, we live in SF and we drive out here just get our grooming for our fur-​baby. It’s hard to get a goldendoodle cut right and we really like the way Naomi cuts her hair. I love the owner Seiji as well, they are very meticulous and listen to our concerns. Saya comes out looking coiffed and a sharp and adorable pup.

2 years ago I took my dog here for an evaluation and I was really impressed with the facility and obvious love that the caretakers had for the animals.
3 months ago I called to see if my dog could get a reservation and did not receive a call back after leaving a message. I called and left 2 more messages and never got a call back. In my opinion, not a great way to run a business.
I took my dog elsewhere and was very happy that I did.

Very good establishment. Very clean and very professional. It is a busy place — also seem to have a lot of regulars who come in for dog services.
They took such good care of my dog for her nail trim — I have been to literally three vets, four other dog groomers and even I could not trim her nails without her being terrified of the nail cutter tool. She walked right in, got her nails trimmed, wagged her tail, sat down and then had the procedure — it looked like she was having a manicure. I think it must be the vibe of the technician, the people are all so calm and so I think the dogs respond to that.
They also do teeth cleaning — no anesthesia — I actually watched them do the procedure on my dog. Her teeth are so clean it is amazing. She had to have a mild sedative but she has to have that anyway when she goes to the vet /​she had anxiety over medical procedures. The price is also very reasonable compared to what you would pay at the vet office. She came home from the procedure a little tired, drooled a little but that was expected she had never had her teeth cleaned before. She was fine an hour after her cleaning like nothing happened. The vet and her tech visit the dog hotel monthly — they do a fantastic job with the cleaning on dogs and cats. Their appointments also seem to book up fast.
I have nothing but good things to say about the services I had at Under One Woof.

It is really frustrating to try and make an appointment. I used to be able to make an appointment a couple weeks out. Now the ONLY appointment is a little more than a month out. Hire some new people or don’t take any NEW clients until you have a more reasonable period. I don’t wait that long for my OWN hair cut. I have not been able to make a reasonable appointment in months. Too bad because they do a great job. Not a good way to run your business. So much for making the BAY WOOF awards this year.

I have been bringing my Shitzu mix to Under One Woof for about three years and he always comes home happy and with a great cut. They take their time and are super gentle with my Astor. I have had several friends and family ask me where I get him groomed he looks so cute! The other thing I appreciate is Trish and Seiji’s attention to detail. They are always super accommodating if I ask for shorter hair around his face or a longer cut. This review is WAY overdue! I highly recommend these groomers. There are some negative reviews about the time it takes. On average it takes them about three to four hours to be done with my long haired dog but I think that’s a plus because they take their time to not stress him out and do a meticulous cut

This place is professional and conveniently located. I bring my pug, Mo, here for a bath every two weeks. The place loves Mo and they don’t want to give him back when I go to pick him up. It’s nice to know that your pet is being loved when you leave them with strangers. I can’t comment on the boarding or other services, but if you are looking for a well-​run front desk, and loving, professional grooming services, this place is great!

Love this place and have been coming here for years, but it’s gotten harder and harder to get in, even for a loyal customer like me. Today I call (it’s mid-​July) and they can’t get my dog in for a grooming until September. Time to find another groomer, I guess.

They take great care of our two PWDs for grooming, washing, nails, and dental

I’m very disappointed with Under One Woof. My husband and I have boarded our dog here before and the place just seems to be going down hill. Anytime I have checked the videocam these last few days, there is never a staff member with the dogs. I have seen the dogs fighting multiple times and the room is just filthy. When someone does come in, they just pick up the messes and leave. I don’t feel that my dog is safe here and she doesn’t get any attention. I am counting down the hours right now until I can pick her up from this place.
I will no longer be boarding her here and I will make sure my friends do not either. It’s simply not safe. And the staff members do not care about these dogs.

I have a 23 pound maine coon. I get him trimmed/​shaved every 6 – 8 months because he has long hair (3″) — thank goodness it doesn’t get matted, except in the nether region and so, making sure he gets groomed is a hygiene matter.
I took him to UOW today for the first time. I had tried several other groomers (one that no longer provides services on Saturdays, another that was mobile that took a chunk out of his tail that I never went back to, and my vet which seemed too stressful) — UOW is local to me so, thought that I would give it a try.
I will admit that I was a little nervous at first — they do a lot of business and my cat was a little nervous in his carrier around the dogs. UOW was great about being attentive, however, and was quick to process a new client’s paperwork — they didn’t leave me waiting and were very cordial.
When I picked my cat up a few hours later, he was calm and didn’t seem stressed. I had the opportunity to meet his groomer who let me know that he was a good cat (he is a love bug and well-​mannered). You get a comment card when you pick your pet up that gives you all the information that you need about how your pet did, if there are any concerns, and any comments from the groomer that the groomer wants you to be aware of — this is very helpful!
He looks *great*. At home and out of the carrier, he is clearly a very happy kitty. He’s grooming himself, likely to get his scent back on himself, but I can tell that he’s a happy boy… and handsome as ever!
UOW did a great job and I’m looking forward to becoming a lifelong client. Highly recommend.

Great care and grooming on my 7 month old Samoyed puppy Rex from the owner to the front desk to all who groomed him. He looks fantastic. They also went the extra mile and took pictures of the proper grooming tools I should purchase and use in between visits. In the future I will use the boarding option when I go on vacation.

I am a regular here and get my dogs the works under the woof often, nothing fancy I go for the navy seal buzz cut with some fluff on the cheeks. I love the wall décor looks just like my shi tzu. I get quite entertained seeing the dogs look like as if they were in daycare, as I glaze thru the window, just entertaining and fun to watch. Highly recommended spot for the convenience, so when your feeling down, get your best friend a quick snip and stare into the window, before you know it, your serving your neighbors a fruitcake.

I have been bringing my doggie here for the past 6 months. My pup is always happy to come here and play with his friends and he seems to get along with the attendants as well. But recently they hired a new attendant. When my husband picked our doggie up the last few times, she has been saying that our dog is too «jumpy» and she gets bruises on her legs. The other attendants never complained about my dog so we don’t know what the deal is with this new person. We understand that it would be concerning if my dog bites and acts aggressively towards others but all he does is JUMP. He is a 21 lb puppy so I don’t believe that he is capable of bruising anyone. If you get bruised so easily maybe you shouldn’t work at a doggie daycare. Don’t get me wrong, My husband and I love all the other attendants here and they all love our pup too. One of the staffs even showed us selfies she took with the pup! But for the sake of not wanting my puppy to «hurt» this fragile attendant, we have cancelled all our future appointments with Under One Woof. Btw, their webcam doesn’t work. BYE FELICIA!

Brought our English Bulldog in for a quick nail trim and the good ‘ol anal gland express. We got the Master Groomer since our guy can be aggressive. Best nail trim we’ve ever seen on our dog.
The entire staff is super friendly and their rates is just the icing on the cake. Stop reading and call for an appointment.

I have been a happy customer for about a year and they do a great job with the grooming!
However, the last two times I brought him in it took over 5 hours for a grooming. The owner said it takes 1.5 hours for grooming which means my dog was in a cage for 3.5 hours. I told he owner the last time that if they are running late, just call me and I will bring him in later so he does not have to be caged. The owner apologized and said it would not happen again. It happened again this past week and I complained to the owner. The NON SYMPATHETIC owner told me to just bring my dog to another groomer. This was his solution. All I requested was to be called, I live 5 minutes away, to bring my dog later if they are running late.
Again, great groomers but I hate caged animals.

Brought my little guy here for the first time just the other day and we were welcomed with open arms! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions and settled any concerns I may have come in with. They were even able to fit him in for a full grooming that day!
He loved you ladies, and was a happy boy for the rest of the day. He looks amazing too! GREAT JOB!

There are so many great things to share and recognize about this daycare. I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was 4 months old, he is not 1yr old. While it is a short period of time, I can say that I’ve experience nothing but exceptional and happy service from Under One Woof! I’ve tried both their grooming and daycare services. Their building both entrance and play area is REALLY REALLY CLEAN, shiny floors and no dust or doggy accidents around. It also smells really refreshing too, you would not think you’re in a dog daycare!
Grooming — I’ve used Trisha for the last couple of times Bentley got groomed. She does a wonderful job and even gives Bentley a cute little bandana to take home! The groomers really take their time and pay close attention to detail. Before dropping off your dog, you get to chat 1-​on-​1 with the groomers to tailor your dog’s hairstyle to your liking :)
Daycare — First off, they have a live webcam, which is great because you can check on your dog whenever they are there! What I like most about their daycare is that they only take a certain number of dogs per day, I believe it’s 20 – 30? They are a small facility, but personally for me, having a manageable number of dogs is a great indicator for safety and welfare for your dog. I definitely do not want my dog to be overly stimulated and overwhelmed. There are people who give your dog an assessment for personality and group behaviors before they are accepted, you have the option of leaving them with daycare that day if they pass. My dog loves it here every time. They also give 1-​on-​1 attention to dogs throughout the day for some human affection — all at no extra cost!
Customer service — The staff here is great!!! Especially Stephanie, I’ve dealt with her probably the most. They are very patient, answers all questions and their attitude and manner is just beyond exceptional. The staff really do a great job at making their customers feel comfortable and welcome when either visiting the facility or dropping/​picking up their dogs. The rates here are really reasonable, can’t complain. There has been one or two incidents where I was late for my half day daycare pick up, the front desk staff told me not to worry about it and continued to charge me for half day and not full day!!! I love them, they definitely understand the concept of keeping a great business and generating satisfied customers!
Awesome place to take your furbaby, I highly recommend it for both grooming and daycare :)
