Job Site Inspections
The Construction General Permit requires all construction activity to be monitored per Risk Level. Greater Bay Area Environmental will perform construction site inspections of BMP’s once per week, In the event of a Qualifying Rain Event, Greater Bay Area Environmental will perform construction site inspections 48 hours prior to, during, and not later than 48 hours after the event. Greater Bay Area Environmental will also inspect the site quarterly for authorized and unauthorized discharges. Samples may also be required, depending on the Risk Level of the job; per the Construction General Permit.
Greater Bay Area Environmental will communicate the status of our findings to the responsible staff member (s) to ensure that the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program is understood and in compliance per the Construction General Permit.
