Business Owner

I am a California Credentialed Teacher turned business owner. I graduated from Cal State Hayward in 2001 with a BA in Liberal Studies. After college, I taught 4th grade in the SRVUSD and privately tutored individual students.

As a small business owner, I pride myself for delivering excellent, personal service to every client.

I am also a proud father to Hanna Grace Harrington, 9 years old. She is the pride and joy of my life!

Outside of teaching, I enjoy practicing yoga, playing golf, riding snowboards and mountain bikes. Our family enjoys camping and going to concerts in the summer. I am lucky to work with such amazing tutors and am blessed with a wonderful family !!

We have been using On Track Learning since last school year, our son is now a Junior in high school. Dan Harrington (the owner) is excellent. Extremely responsive, and understanding with our last minute schedule changes. Every tutor we have used through his company has been an excellent help for our son. We have used them for geometry, and now Algebra II/​Trig. The tutors have even spent extra time with our son so that they can completely explain the concepts. Our son went from getting Cs on tests to As.
They also offer SAT prep tutoring as well! It helped our son improve his scores substantially.
From the first point of contact, to the weekly tutoring, it has been great. I would highly recommend this company.

My 5 stars are for the excellent tutors that owner Dan Harrington employs (they are all good) and the very professional way he runs his business. I don’t take the time to write reviews on Unilocal very often but this review is well deserved.
I’m the mother of four teenage daughters and all have required math tutoring. With that said, we had tried more than a handful of different tutors in the Danville/​Alamo area ranging from chain tutoring centers to various private home tutors before finding On Track Learning. It has been, by far, the best tutoring my kids have ever gotten. As other reviews have stated, Dan makes it very easy to schedule tutoring appointments via text and he responds very quickly. He really goes out of his way to accommodate when it comes to scheduling, even last minute requests. As a person who can be hard to please, I have been nothing but pleased with the service we’ve received. Great owner, great tutors, great service. Invaluable!

My daughter was failing geometry, so I called On Track Learning. Dan called me back almost immediately and set up a time for her to have a tutoring session. The cost is reasonable and my daughter loves her tutor. They are very accommodating schedule-​wise. I highly recommend them for your tutoring needs!

We LOVE this place!!! My two step sons were begging for help with math. I looked all over even getting a list of tutors from the high school. Driving to get my morning coffee one day I saw the sign for On Track Learning and decided to call them. I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I did! Dan is extremely helpful and accommodating and the tutors are awesome! We have a somewhat complicated custody arrangement and Dan makes it so easy to schedule sessions for both kids, he’s also in the 21st century and uses text which is very helpful. I know I will always get a prompt response! I’ve never known 13&14 year olds to want to go to tutoring but both boys love to go and often times ask for more sessions!

On Track learning is a wonderful place. We have been going to On Track Learning for about a year and I have Dan and all the teachers to be extremely supportive of my daughter. Dan is always responsive and willing to go beyond the call to make sure the tutors are up to speed with the schools curriculum. Since going to On Track my daughter has improved in math and has regained her confidence.

On Track Learning is a fantastic place to learn. We’ve been sending both of our kids to On Track for over a year. We could not be happier. Every tutor we’ve worked with have been genuinely invested in our kids. We came to On Track before our son started first grade because he was changing schools and was sorely behind in his reading readiness. I was seriously worried that he’d be starting from a real deficit. After only a few weeks at On Track his tutor had him reading at grade level. He started the school year right where he should have been and a year later, he’s above grade level in both reading and math. He’s happy to go to his tutoring session, has fun, and learns so much. If you have a kid who’s struggling, falling behind, or isn’t challenged enough in class, this is the place.
The environment at On Track is full of tutors (many teachers) and kids working diligently. It’s a quiet, well lit, clean place for kids to really get to work. There’s plenty of parking and scheduling is easy.

On Track Learning is a great place to catch up or to enrich. The teachers are fun and engaging. We use On Track for enrichment and my son actually BEGS to go! We feel so lucky to have found this place and love that they make learning fun and easy!
