Comprehensive eye exams, include dilation, glaucoma screening, eyeglass prescriptions, and any other necessary diagnostic testing.
Intermediate eye exams include brief health examination and eyeglass prescription.
Contact lens exams for a current contact lens wearer include checking vision, fitting, and ocular health with current contact lenses. Updating lens prescription, lens size, or brand may be necessary for optimum vision and ocular health.
NEW wearer would receive training on insertion & removal of contact lenses, proper lens cleaning and care. A series of different trial contact lenses and follow up visits may be necessary to determine the optimum lens comfort and vision.
Medical visits: Glaucoma diagnosis and follow-up care, Diabetic Retinopathy diagnosis, Cataract Evaluations, Macular Degeneration diagnosis. Conjunctivitis diagnosis and follow-up care. Dry eyes management.
Medically necessary contact lenses for Keratoconus and other conditions.

Meet the Business Owner
Shelley W.
Business Owner
Dr. Shelley Wu worked at a busy Ophthalmology practice for over 10 years prior to starting a new practice in Alamo. She has 14 years of experience in the field of primary eye care, including general and specialty contact lens care, among others.
Dr. Wu received a B.S. degree from UCLA, and subsequently completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. She completed her residency at VA medical Center in Chicago, followed by a one year fellowship program in Cornea/Contact Lens at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
Upon completing her fellowship training, Dr. Wu returned to the Bay Area and joined an Ophthalmology group in 2004. She is certified by the California State Board of Optometry for therapeutic and glaucoma management, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. In addition, Dr. Shelley has published in peer reviewed journals.
