After a recommendation for computer help from my neighbor who has a thriving IT business, I have been coming to Simon at Advance 2000 ever since. The other reviews are spot on! Actually, Simon is building me a new computer for a very reasonable price right now. Much faster, upgraded and with all the details that I personally want! I know that I can always get quick, competent support anytime there is an issue I can’t solve. Simon is very competent and reasonable. His business is probably one of the best kept secrets because he doesn’t advertise. Guess will have to write a review so I can share. I have a few other friends who come to him now to upgrade or resolve a problem. He will come to the house if necessary. I know that there are few places that would make sure that all my information is carefully backed up and established on my new computer. Anytime you go in for repair, he always backs up first. Good thing! He is right next door to the Subaru dealer in Albany, very convenient. Looking forward to picking up my new computer this afternoon.

I’m a total idiot when it comes to the world of computers. That said, and for folks like me, it’s so important to have someone who knows how to handle one of the most important aspects of your life. Simon understands this. He’s always kind. And never. Condescending. Are you listening other computer guys? I’ve been going to this gentleman for years now. And I’ll probably be going to him as long as he’s in business. He just gets whatever my computer needs done. and it’s really great that I can trust him implicitly to make all the right decisions regarding this precious piece of equipment we rely on so much in the modern age. It’s really a kind of a holy trinity one must have. A really good doctor. A really good mechanic. And someone to work on your computer that just gets it done right without treating you like an idiot. And at a very fair price. Highest praise.

Back in the early 2000’s my family bought a computer from AT2000, these computers lasted at least 6 years, which is what I expect form a computer. Then I bought a computer online and it worked for about a year, then the sound card went out. I brought it in to get checked out, they charged me a fair price for the card and installation. In general they know what they are doing, are prompt and charge a fair price. They will be the place I go to if I need help.

An honest and generous guy! Twice I’ve walked in looking for replacement parts to keep old equipment running, and both times Simon offered me used working parts for free. I finally got him to accept a little money. I will always come here first and recommend it to friends.

This place is great! They really know about computer & networking. Set up my restaurant and office at a great price. Great service too! Came out to fix some minor problems with sameday service. They even helped me out over the phone! Thanks AT2000!!!

I went to get my PC fixed but they couldn’t do it. They charged me $ 85!!! When I took it to another place in Berkeley, they only charged me $ 45 to look at it and that money went towards the«Mother-Board» it need it. Don’t recommend it unless you have $ 85 to spair.
