History

Established in 2000.

My experience started in the sign industry as a Sign Painter and Calligrapher for a local company where I painted large sign panels, Real estate Signs, Billboards, Illustrations for logos, Full architectural renderings for construction sites, and vehicle lettering. When the sign industry was introduced to the computer industry I was forced to learn the graphics applications needed to make vinyl lettering. «no more paint brushes» Although I tried to hang on to the old way as long as I could the world of Computerized Vinyl Graphics was underway and there was no stopping it. The one thing I didn’t see is how it would form my career in the website design field. After 2 years of study and local IT schoold I became the web specialist I am today. I’ve been building website for well over 13 years now I I just love the stuff.

John J. Catalfamo, President and Founder of Albany Graphics Studio, LLC., has more than 35 years of progressively responsible experience managing as many as 6 employees in companies with revenues in excess of $ 1 to 5 million. John has led these companies through start-​up, turnaround and growth.

John has spent 20 years as a manager of local companies such as United Signs, Tech Valley Graphics and Pavement Technologies offering and supporting products and services like Marketing, Web Design, Development, Sign Displays, and Corporate Branding. His understanding of both domestic and international distribution channels encompasses retail sales, wholesale, catalogue sales, and direct sales.

John Catalfamo holds The Gold Award for 2006 and 2007 which represents Web Presence at its best. To achieve this award is truly an honor. The winning site has scored between 90 and 100 points, which was not an easy task. A Gold award winning site is error free from broken links and error messages.
