Served as advocate for patient who was overbilled. The billing department people have no ethics it seems, and will do anything to make an extra buck. Maybe the dentists are nice people but I assume they set the billing policies. So shameful to see a practice behave this way.

Not sure why there are negative reviews about this place. I’ve been going here for the past 5 years and it is a wonderful practice. All the staff members are courteous and friendly. Both dentists are great, and the hygienists are wonderful too. Prior to this establishment I tried various other practices like Aspen dental. However, the dentists at other places were greedy and quite frankly just wanted to make a quick buck. All I can say is that Albany a Group Dental is a great place

This was the worst dentistry I’ve experienced. Horrible customer service and the rudest woman at the desk. I had an issue where she overcharged me and took my money after lying and saying my insurance wouldn’t cover a routine exam that had been covered in the past. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! I’m looking elsewhere and have had much better service at Aspen Dental. If you want cold, rude, horrible customer service then this would be your place. Shame on Albany Group Dental.

I will update this review if anything changes. However, I want to warn other against going to this practice. The billing staff (and presumably the dentist) are in the habit of overcharging patients beyond what the insurance pays. For example, a patient is billed for «instructions» because the patient listened to the hygienist going on and on about the importance of flossing. It’s really sad that some places try to get more money out of patients when they seem to have been in practice for a while.
