I write this review with very mixed feelings. I searched for a nail salon that suited my needs, I saw this place had good reviews for the most part so I checked them out. My first visit was on a rainy day and no one was there except myself and the nail technicians. It was my first time having ANC done and I asked for a certain design and shape to my nails. My nails looked good but it wasn’t the color or design I wanted and my thumb nails were crooked, I tried to explain it to the nail technician but she couldn’t grasp what I was saying. I went home and fixed it myself. My nails lasted nearly a month. I went for second visit and had them take the tips off and just put the ANC on my own nails. This time the shop was pretty busy, 2 nail techs and someone doing pedicures. There were 3 people in the pedicure chairs and 4 people trying to get their finger nails done. One nail tech attempted to try to get everyone done and the same time but her juggling skills were poor, she would ask «what color?» And walk away to answer someone else without getting my answer. Under pressure these techs are just all over the place but mainly the one nail tech. I had a lot of time in my hands but I also didn’t want to waste my day waiting for her to answer questions and forget I was there. They do an okay with ANC but the knowledge lacks, maybe it’s the language barrier but when you are a first time ANC user, they should be able to answer simple questions like… what’s the difference between ANC, gel and acrylic. I am not one to complain hence why I tried twice. If you have patience then have at it, but I can’t deal with dismissing me when I need you to answer a question. Will not go back.

I am a regular, every 3 weeks, for ANC and a hot stone pedicure. I have never left unhappy. They do a great job on my nails and feet. Very customer oriented. Good color selection, very clean and friendly.

I’m shocked at the 4.5 stars here. Went in on a Wed evening at 545. Waited over an hour in an empty store for them to take my gels off and give me a natural manicure with no polish. They also tried to soak my nails in acetone for too long as I waited which is bad for them. Didn’t shine/​buff my nails either. I attempted to clarify that I wanted my nails to be buffed, but I realized that Id been there for almost 2 hours and needed to take an L with this place and get the hell out of there. To top it all off: all of the tools my manicurist used were filthy. This is the worst manicure I’ve ever received and I will not be going back.

Pedicure was okay, manicure was a hot mess. I got ANC for the first time and the owner worked on my nails (very rushed). Not only did it come out thick and uneven but I also had to point out the fact that the nails were not filed evenly. Some still had rough, uneven edges. If you’re okay with that then this is the place to go. But if you expect quality work I’d pass. Still trying to find a good nail salon. Originally from down state where my ladies do an awesome job and are perfectionist. I can go 3 – 4 weeks with a gel mani. Here my ANC lasted a week then started to chip and looked just awful. Will not be returning.

Had my nails done there approximately 2 weeks ago and was very pleased with the work that was done. For $ 25, got ANC nails and requested a round shape. Everything was performed to perfection. The salon itself is nothing high end but is clean. The ladies are very friendly yet not chatty (which I like). It’s strictly business. I can’t wait to go back to get my nails done again!

Just had a quick spa pedicure. My feet were a mess before and now look great. I had the basic spa pedicure for $ 20.

Always happy with this place, unlike some other nail salons I’ve tried in the area. Nice staff, careful work, good results.

Love this place, they are friendly, have reasonable prices and do a fantastic job! I won’t go anywhere else…

After being completely dissatisfied with several salons in the Albany-​area, AT Nails changed my perspective. This is an excellent nail salon and I am so glad my friend told me about it! The women who work here are professional, friendly, and always do a great job making sure my nails look PERFECT. Not only do they remember your name, but they offer «stamp cards» for each time you come in– 5 stamps= either a free Spa Pedi or Gel Mani.
If you’re in the area, stop in and you will not be disappointed!
